  2. Link 16, helmet and aim-9x were not a thing before XXIc, GPS in aircrafts? certainly not 1991, during Desert Storm ground GPS tools were common, but ALL planes used during confict based on INS, drifting like hell, and pilots often turned back to radio navigation. Fun fact, that even things like NVG during 90's was not a std on F-15's. Our Hornet C lot 20 have upgraded engines and radar over 80's predecessor, it's still relatively close to CW one, if we remove DL, helmet and modern weapons, maybe for those reasons ED added Welleye II that was retired shortly after ODS, so there was practically no chance that lot 20 could even use it... Same can be said about DCS Viper. If you had to use early 80's Viper it would be a culture shock, especially old pulse doppler radar with range comperable to Fulcrum and similarly prone to notching and jamming. A Vipers were not HARM capable either, but older Vipers C were rather comperable to one we have in a2g, just diffrent weapon options with various foreign customers.
  3. Yee, but not like the ones OP proposed Aside weapons random failure (released missiles/rockets not firing, bombs not expolding), would be also good to have radom failures on aircrafts them selfs. There in a feature in the optinos to turn on/off radom failures, but in reality I didn't encounter any so far on any of it.
  4. I think it's a good idea to have it as an optional feature. But correctly determining the likely failure rate of each weapon is difficult.
  5. Seems to be fixed with the latest update.
  6. После нескольких попыток подключения.
  7. While I appreciate that the Corsair did not have an autopilot, please leave it in as it gives me the opportunity to drink a coffee when on a long flight.
  8. If my memory serves me then that is fine, circular error probable (CEP) of 5 meters or less when GPS is available is expected
  9. Did this item sell on Ebay?

  11. Yeah, so the first one is definitely him still being in FOCUS mode. I suppose he did not understand that this particular bandit died. The "bandit is down" callout isnt coming from his radar code but is a visual observation. So his radar logic likely thought that the bandit could still be there, keeping it focused to get it back on screen. You can just get him back to standard scan by using the context actions - autofocus only happens on targets actually on the screen, so he will not focus thin air. The second one, not sure whats going on there specifically. Possibly he did not understand that you left CAGE mode yourself instead of using the context actions. You can enable the Jester Console (RCTRL+L) to get some insights into what he is doing. I would also suggest to hit context action to get him back to standard scan. Note that you can have Jester leave CAGE mode for you by using the Context Action as well - no need to rotate that knob yourself (potentially losing the target visually doing that). If you can reproduce this a track would be great, then we can have a deeper look. Cheers
  12. Tried a little something with a static model:
  13. Just to make sure, while this might be your personal estimation, such a statement has not been made by any official sources. There is no correlation betwen the two modules in any way. I cant speak for ED and their F-35, but the EF releases when its done as simple as that
  14. Just dropping in to say "Thanks, Chuck!"
  16. Hi guys. Although I do know in real life the OH-58D does only carry 2 pilots, I am planning some missions where the Kiowa Warrior "simulates" the MH-6 Little Bird without mast or hellfires and I would like to have the possibility of adding an extra 4 soldiers as the Littlebird can carry I have tried several ways to add the Kiowa to the list of aircraft either by aircraft type using "OH-58D" or "OH-58D(R)" or even using the pilot name but I do not manage to get the CTLD menu and to load troops. In the same mission I can do it nicely in the UH or other helicopter types. I would like to ask if the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior could be used to carry 4 extra soldiers with CTLD or there is an impossibility for that? Thanks!! EDIT FIXED !!!!! the script recognized the helicopter as "OH58D" and not as "OH-58D" or "OH-58D(R)" it works now !!!
  17. F16 1991 and F18 somewhat around 1999 if I remeber it correct.
  18. Destroyed Yak-28: Quick missing texture Put this in the "Textures" folder. destroyed.dds
  19. The FCR scan area on the TSD will erroneously not show or disappear if: 1. One TSD is zoomed out to 150km or greater, and on the other TSD the FCR scan area disappears. 2. If the TSD is zoomed at 150km or greater, and the TSD MAP mode is changed to SAT, which changes the map scale to 25km, the FCR scan area doesn't appear. The video shows the two glitches in the same order. 2025-08-19 23-48-28 - Trim.mp4
  20. In the current version, this issue has been resolved as the launcher now has the ability to change the language.
  21. Did you use ROE = WEOPON FREE ?
  22. 好像没中文的,看英文的吧,,,,其实和1比基本没变,就是HOTAS功能小改,新加的头瞄,雷射指导火箭弹还有个数字电台这几部分不一样,光看这几页就行了。。。。。
  23. Convert 9000 feet to meters and use that number - it will work after that
  24. The Pantsir with its 57E6 uses command guidance, so there won’t be a RWR launch warning. The radar is steering the missile by sending it commands, it has no seeker itself.
  25. The fuel gauge includes the reserve. If you saw it at zero after your engine quit, then you were empty on the reserve as well. When on the main tank during a flight, you’ll see the fuel needle drop to 50 gallons and then the engine will quit. Quickly switch over to reserve and it will fire back up and you can use the remaining 50 gallons in the standpipe.
  26. Hi, How can i input MGRS coordinates in the JF17? I would like to work with a JTAC who gives me a 9lines based on MGRS. Thx
  27. Fire the laser after the target is designated. You don't need to hold it "on," just a quick shot to get the ranging data. In my experience, for best results, don't actually designate the "body" of the target you want to hit. Designate a tire, the tread, or the ground under the target if you can see it.
