I have no problem communicating with Petro. I know his weaknesses and I know how to react. I am not defending him. The AI's bugs and suggestions have been reported, so I am waiting for them to be implemented. Until they are implemented, I have to react to what is happening myself. It is stupid, for example, that when I am flying in pairs and my wingman launches his missile at his target, Petro is able to give a message about the missile. When it comes to ground fire, I have no problem with that. I get information from which side they are firing. What annoys me the most is the lack of reselection of the same target after the first hit.

That is correct, but you have installed 2 assestpacks. One is the main directory and the other is the update directory. The update belongs in the main directory. -
I’m not entirely sure. I haven’t changed anything except to install Germany Cold War and update the game with the latest update. Other than that I haven’t changed anything at all on my computer or in the game.

Whatever it is, I don't have the strength and time to prove it to ED for several days, and they won't touch it for several years anyway, with the excuse that it corresponds to realism as they see it. And if I don't like Ai, the most I can get from ED for dissatisfaction with their work instead of a fix is a threat of a ban from the discussion forum.

Better trees (for Caucasus) work perfect still. Im using it for better FPS in VR.

Still getting "Login Session Expired" message. Game closes afterwards. I'm not logged into any other machines for the game. I have my account saved on my iPad for the forums.

Optional or not, the problem with this suggestion is that it gives unofficial mods an official treatment. Trying to make it easier for players to put things into the game that will break it. The reason you don’t see enough people joining your server is most players are savvy enough to know that these mods aren’t worth the trouble they cause. Encouraging their use in MP and popularizing them through in-game features would be detrimental.

The error message seems to refer to an issue relating to temporary files. If you have plenty of space on your drive(s) then another possible cause would be a permissions issue. Is it possible that you installed DCS, or parts of it, as administrator and are running it as a regular user now? This can lead to some weird behaviours.

Yeah I wondered that too - how it can affect into it. THOUGH noticed that also in EFM 2.1.0 rotate is pretty darn fast. Update log says something about low speeds+ landig + pitch problems, wonder did they change it somehow, and with ench mod the speed is faster and does something weird? Maby it thinks its in the air? dunno. BTW, sidenote - Is there any way to use ench wpns only + efm mod? Have wondered that before. (just for my own server thingamobs) -
But those AI "eyes" suffer from cataracts. And when I look out of the pilot's window myself, I see enemy units before the AI calculates and realizes. That can't happen when the AI operator looks out of the window the same way as the (player) pilot. That has nothing to do with realism, it's just errors in the AI, which you then pass off as an imperfect pilot-operator who makes mistakes, has "bad equipment" and is having a bad day.

In the current DCS version it is possible to tune hand positions up/down, left/rigt and forward/backward. Howerver it is not possible to choose the hand spacing. When I bring my hands together until they touch, in the game they pass through each other because the spacing isn't correct. It would be very useful to be able to adjust the hand spacing, especially for those who use physical peripherals alongside their VR headset. Thanks

You didn't understand what I wrote. In real life, and therefore in the game, the copilot has only his eyes at his disposal. So detection depends solely on skill. In contrast, Western pilots have various electronic systems to help them see further and detect more. What you wrote about I also have in the game. Not often, but it does occur.

Just played mission 8: it's a brilliant! Nice views, (...this also allowing you to keep your head outside the cockpit(c)) different weapons including guns, interesting targets, drama... Just WOW, really enjoyed. Just 1 hmmm "thing": i had easily joined Wave when he is on his way to nearest airport. Flying at his left right near him. Seeing his smoke. But at one moment he's doing a way too unpredictable maneuver when changing direction to airport...It was really like: hey! what are you doing? Where are you going? Why are you gaining an altitude? First i thought what may be he now has some controls failure. But next i enable a map an AMPCD and saw an airport. But i was close to miss his...landing. I think if he told by radio what he's found an airport and making right turn-it will be more intuitive to be right next to him. But anyway-so far it's my one of my favorite missions in f/a-18c campaigns! -
Indeed, I've understood that. I was just wondering why the Mig 21 didn't catch the PRGM despite the fact it was tune on the same channel as the RSBN.

Of course there is, NEZ refers to the missile being able to chase down the target if it turns and runs at the moment of launch. That doesn't mean a kinematic defeat is impossible. Even if the missile has enough energy to hit you, it doesn't mean that it has the G to do so. -

Some will say not to, but I had to run TrackIR with administrative privileges after the same upgrade. That MIGHT fix it. -
If an enemy unit is unmasked by its own fire, it should immediately appear in Ai Petrovich's target menu. From a greater distance, it could be "unknown". If Ai were not at a sufficient distance to identify it, she should be aware of the threat of hundreds of projectiles flying at her from a given location, and register the threat as a general designation according to the danger, e.g. medium-range anti-aircraft systems, short-range anti-aircraft systems.
