Spitfire - Echo19 sound mod not running?
Thundersmoke replied to briklebritt's topic in Bugs and Problems
I'm guessing you copy/pasted those paths so this probably a longshot, but if you installed DCS long enough ago, the path will be \DCS.openbeta\Mods\tech That's the only discrepancy I see in the install path compared to mine. I just installed his "Core Ultimate" pack in the last couple of days, so I was freshly dealing with it. I'd previously had his Mustang and Spitfire packs in the path you listed first. If none of that helps, I'd probably reach out on the Echo19 Discord and get a helping hand direct from the source. Good luck! -
They announced both FFB stick and rudder, almost one year ago, hopefully in the next year we'll see something

Are they releasing FFB rudder?

What are you talking about? You can load more weapons (with some limitations) and you have more loadout options than in the legacy hornet (e.g. 2x AIM-9X + 2x GBU-32 + 4x GBU-31 + 2x AIM-120C + 1x FPU-12, try this in the legacy hornet). Besides of that the mod has some nice gimmicks that the legacy doesn't have. So, please go and troll everywhere else.

Starting from C&D mode and moving resets the navigation
YoYo replied to YoYo's topic in Bugs and Problems
It's also worth noting that if you're using DTC, starting moving will reset the navigation to the DTC settings. This is clearly a bug, and please fix this issue. TY. -
Oh, we're talking expensive expensive might be worth waiting for winwing then...

I agree, +1 for tunning down a little. 50% of we have will be ok I suppose. -
And how do you do a free trial?

I have a mission with random spawned enemy ground targets with a friendly AFAC (reaper drone) giving me locations. In that mix of random targets, there may be anti air (SA-6/13 etc) and a bunch of other stuff such as tanks. The AFAC sees them all, but it seems like anti air is the last thing he prioritises. Are there any ways to change this?

correct as-is Mig 29 problemy z prędkością oraz jej wytracaniem
draconus replied to HUZARN's topic in Bugs and Problems
To report a bug you'll have to be very specific. "Doesn't accelerate that fast" is not very scientific approach, just a meaningless feeling, not worth looking into. I somehow doubt you'll be given exact flight data even if your friend is a real pilot. You'll need exact data points vs time containg ex. the TAS, current G, altitude, vertical speed (if not level), ambient temperature, aircraft loadout and fuel weight. PS. You also have to be sure the real aircraft in question is not modded in any way from the original version, especially for the engines and be sure that their condition after tens of years of service still enable them to output nominal power. Mods can also change the aircraft gross weight which also makes manual charts data incorrect. -

Radius 2km with center around the airfield symbol. For more information, check the airfield in the editor, it's visible there.

Great information Razo+r - Is there any knowledge on how large that circle is, and where its center is ?

Oh, you got me at FFB mod, how expensive are we talking?

Genau das Ich nutze aktuell noch Win10 und weiß noch nicht was ich in 2 Wochen machen werde. Hat jemand Erfahrung mit der Nutzung von TrackIR unter Linux?

UPDATE: After doing a a repair, followed by deleting fxo and metashaders, the problem apparently vanished. It seems to be really quick with saving the missions now, and now crashes for 6-7 last attempts. Possible that there were some leftovers from former patch. In any case, consider it solved on my end.

Hi, I launch my "RET" bomb on the trucks but it never blows off. I checked Flying Kenny YT video and do as he does (unless I miss something). What do I do wrong ?

They are a bit tricky to get sorted...Happy to help if you want

...and there is quality differences in dampers. Some have a quite pronounced direction-change "hole". The one I used to have had this issue more pronounced the stronger the damping was set. If you want the "best-of-the-best", use a motorcycle Steering Damper (a quality one obviously) or apply a FFB mod to your Crosswinds (expensive). But first try Max' suggestion. It'll probably improve the issue.

I let the engine warm up perfectly, neither at maximum nor at minimum. In my opinion, it's the oil pressure that renders the engine useless. I always activate the automatic prop pitch; it's mandatory for perfect coordination on DB6xx engines. We all know that without the automatic propeller system, it would be impossible to keep the engine in its perfect operating range without breaking the reduction gear or the propeller planetary gear system. I'll send you a video now. Thanks for answering
