Perfect picks for CW carrier and WW2 carrier for supercarrier addon would be either a Kittyhawk or JFK Class and for ww2 I'd say essex or midway, with honorable mention to the Lexington

The ground taxi rudder trim is still off, still overeact i am GREATLY CURIOUS why it takes so long to NOT fix this issue I don't believe that in real life an Apache guy can taxi this thing without turning all around if was like in the game Might try if the issue could corrected with a damper

I wanted the NH-90. I think it's incredible! There was a third party that was making it for DCS, but it disappeared overnight.

What capabilities should we expect from the F-104?
Tengah replied to Hatman335's topic in DCS: F-104
To be fair, if you got on the six of an EEL, you would have to hang on; she had a very respectable turn radius. RIAT 1987 Frightning Display Anyways, that is enough from me regarding the EEL, back to the 104 -

Agree. F/A-18C... w/o the USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Just the Livery numbers and callsigns. This is a purchased module, not freeware. Bowie

Luckily we have a cold-war version of the Bo-105 incoming

You're spot on on this. I believe you've found the issue. APU RPM% gets stuck at 60% if any engine is out of the fuel cut off position or idle before the APU is fully started.

I dont think that comment is fair, its been a long time since the F-16C release and we have had good launches since. With that said lets not derail this thread. thank you

There's a lot riding on this one, so let's hope ED fully realise that and deliver a solid release for a change

I went for accuracy by volume of "fire". The chances of OP also having a confusion on the gauges are high given how cluttered the front panel is and the APU EGT gauge which usually hovers at the 6 marker on startup of an engine is right next to the actual APU RPM gauge with the name 'APU' a bit covered at certain angles. Is hard to fumble the apu start. Is easy to forget the APU gen switch as no other module (american) has that need to turn on the APU gen. I took my chances. As an addition. The Warthog without fuel while attempting to turn on the APU will feature the RPM stuck at 30%:

@Calvin.Pimax I am on V1.0.7 on the Super. What is actually fixed in V1.0.8?

how have you been @SloppyDog ive mounted my doorgun on my rig, and trying to get back to mission building and just shooting the doorgun. i did fly last week to test my setup. my pilot was all over the place, rocking and tilting, too high too low... i have to look at tutorial on how to set huey to trim out and fly at a constant speed hope to have result soon

I recommend to use the free flight mission in Caucasus to train with this, with more training you can understand about the aircraft more, and with greater flexibility, some of the important details are hard to explain and is wordy, i think the reflected simulation or the heatblur manual should make a tutorial about it

It will be interesting to see if it will be a realistic launch, with the vehicles on their platforms until they reach land.

OP very clearly said the APU RPM doesn't go above 60%. In the Caucasus Cold Start mission, that's not the case. I could switch on most consumers (IFFCC, radios, countermeasures, EGI+CDU, and a few more), switch on APU Gen, and then Battery + Inverter + APU Start, and it would start just fine and all electric consumers would come alive as the APU reaches 100% RPM. Just to be clear, we shouldn't be doing this (I distinctly recall a SME saying "You don't start the APU loaded"), but it doesn't explain OP's observation.

"Time since Flag" - I want to shoot the ME
Fenix Mueneren replied to Fenix Mueneren's topic in Mission Editor
It was an attempt to not initialize the flag and check if it was working. But.... fancy thing; I was able to find the problem. The building supposed to go up in flames was a static object. and I was using (as can be seen) a "Group dead" trigger. This however, seemed to not play nice. I changed it to a "Unit dead".... and tada! Now it's working as expected.- 5 replies

What capabilities should we expect from the F-104?
Bremspropeller replied to Hatman335's topic in DCS: F-104
Not sure abut that one, when all the DCS video'fluencers are basicly flying the Lightning design-mission: Take off in severe clear wether, with too little fuel to "increase performance", kill a couple of dudes in epic high-angle-off gun-engagements and then crash while trying to land ("...haven't read that page of the book yet..."). The EEL's the perfect jet for those fellas. -
Doesn't seem to be much wrong there, but you can try this one F18_4-screens_v2.lua I have created a displays table, based on your display settings above (4 screens now?) which tells DCS which screens to use and where they are. You CAN NOT run in fullscreen mode and keep DCS open while reading a PDF, that is a Windows "feature" and nothing to do with DCS, just run in windowed mode (fullscreen off) I don't think it makes a difference anyway when running multiple monitors.
