  2. For me, bombs are falling short persistently. No matter the mode
  3. Hola! Change it, Options-> Gameplay -> Units (Imperial/Metric) [(opciones->jugabilidad->unidades imperial o metrico)]
  4. Updatelog: 2025-09-19, 16:30 UTC ================= Quick missions .) All quick missions have been saved using the newest DCS version 2.9.20.15010. .) All quick mission now use 80% internal fuel and no X-tank in order to have a more realistic aircraft behavior once arriving on the scene. Kind regards, TOViper
  5. Hey @magronas123 I will take a look.
  6. I would like the option in special menu instead, rather than changing unit universally If I fly western aircraft I want imperial (German WW2 /French maybe not), but Metric if flying Warsaw pact. So Unit setting per aircraft I would like.
  7. Hey @ThorBrasil I will take a look, also a little birdie told me that a A2G vid should be coming soon as well, the -29 is deceptively more complicated than it would seem. I will take a look though.
  8. But if you scroll down a bit further, you'll see that it's possible to perform the attack without the pre-designate. And even then, it doesn't work. Page 100 of the MiG-29A manual. "Aiming in the "OPT" mode without pre-designate is performed if there is little time or altitude to attack the target. To aim without pre-designate mark, after entering the dive and starting the laser rangefinder: 1. Determine corrections for wind speed and target movement 2. Move the aiming mark relative to the target by the amount of corrections 3. Press the gun or missile launch trigger at permitted firing ranges - the moving index in the effective firing zone and an audio signal is sent to the phones 4. After finishing shooting, withdraw the aircraft from the attack." I asked Nineline to investigate whether it was my error or a possible problem.

  10. I guess the treat table for the SPO is setup for what existed at the end of the Cold war i.e Hawk, Nike-Hercules, F-14, F-15, F-16A, F-4, F-5, Mirage F-1 etc.. AMRAAMS was not existing at it´s current setting
  11. I can't launch from CCIP, and the beep keeps coming. After the beep, the bombs fall in places outside the launch site. I also can't launch the fragmentation bombs. TOSS mode doesn't work either. If I'm doing the procedure wrong, please correct me! Could you investigate @NineLine? Thanks! 12. Если бы... щас после последнего патча как буду летать, проверю, может чего пофиксили.
  13. В мануале разве не так должно быть? null
  14. DCS has always been simplified/limited in this regard and doesn't differentiate between ground properties in winter or summer, wet or dry conditions, so there's no such thing as "frozen", "pepared/unprepared grass" etc. Maybe with a bit of exception re. grassy aifields on 3 WWII maps. Real life examples are irrelevant then - a more detailed implementation is needed (someday maybe?) and for now all we can do is being more careful and avoiding taxiing onto the dirt in anything newer than WWII planes. With that being said, gear collapse when taxiing seems too much - in other DCS jets one usually just gets "stuck" without such extensive damage.
  15. Question: Is this 'Target Acquisition Symbol Button Depress' command supposed to be used to lock targets or not? I thought it should but for me it doesn't do it, maybe its a bug or not, which is why I ask for intended purpose of it?
  16. On that same topic of making the visor a bit wider; for a 3-monitor setup the visor does not stretch to the full width. Would be more immersive to have it for the peripheral vision. The image is for a 5780x1080 resolution. Shouldn't be too difficult to stretch right?
  17. Retribution comes with Falklands/SA Map campaigns by default. It is not A mission. https://github.com/dcs-retribution/dcs-retribution
  18. Hi @Wags and @ThorBrasil I think many of us in the community have missed that the LOCK-ON botton must be used when doing manual bombing (!) From Eagle Dynamics MIG-29A Fulcrum Flight Manual : Please see the red underlines below:
  19. Encouraged by the taxiing-related thread, which I don't want to derail, I finally tried the ground crew repair command to see what happens when it's used with Corsair, compared to other DCS planes. Something seems to be sketchy indeed. In other DCS warbirds upon spawn in single player mission, crew acknowledges the command, but nothing happens then and that's that. Only in Corsair, however, the 170 sec countdown does start (with all the messages + lifting and lowering of the A/C animation + relevant message in post-mission screen), which suggests the plane was somehow damaged somewhere already from the get go. I can ignore the landing gear showing unloaded state and sinking into the ground during lowering - I presume it's probably iffy animation and animations do not indicate what happens in physics code anyway. BUT, I also believe the repair cycle would/should not start at all if the plane was pristine in the first place, right? These are observations made today, based on cold-start missions (one stock and one custom) in latest version of the game.
  20. Great to hear. I just tested it too and seems to work with B selected.

  22. Hi, thanks for the track. From the manual. Afterburner takeoff Afterburner detents unlock by pressing [0] the on the throttles when needed If an AB takeoff is desired, smoothly advance throttles to max AB after brake release. Maintain directional control with the rudder pedals. Wheel braking should not be used for directional control during takeoff roll. Due to a nose-lowering tendency during intake duct opening delay rotation until it has occurred. When reaching safe altitude retract gear and thereafter the flaps. Rapid full aft movement of the stick may result in the exhaust nozzles hitting the runway Page 78 So you should be releasing the brakes before reaching full afterburner. thank you
  23. I asked about this in the patch notes thread but didn't receive a reply. I went ahead and bought it and was disappointed to see it's not implemented. I would have bought it anyway but it would have been nice to clarify in the release notes that it was only teasing a possible future feature that may or may note be implemented. I know it says experimental on the video, but something can still be classed as experimental and still be included. Anyway, personally it's a feature I would very much like included on all modules. I think it would add greatly to VR immersion, even if it's only implemented as an animation of walking up the ladder and into the cockpit when doing a cold start, (although I'd prefer a full walkaround).
  24. Uninstall the maps that are being updated. Update your sim. Reinstall the maps. Will will reduce the space needed for large number of maps updated at once like one this patch. You need to uninstall. Not just flip the switch on module manager. Updating a map will download a lot of data first, which will occupy space beyond the currently installed map(s) files, and only then it will patch the data into the current installation. This will require a lot of space to do. Doing the steps above will relieve your system to need such space for the patch. It will use a lot of bandwidth regardless.
  25. Yep, good addition)
