  3. We're looking at the same document then regarding STT logic. But it specifically mentions in earlier pages that during sparrow launches it will run burst ranging logic in PDI until the sparrow is launched and then burst ranging logic is inhibited. During that time it's fully using the higher duty cyle HPRF. In either case in my opinion, there is enough of a difference here to indicate that a sparrow launch from an APG-73 would be picked up by RWR's, at least more advanced western varieties. I suspect it may be a delayed reaction thing where the RWR recognizes a mode change when the expected interval burst ranging didnt happen. -Yes the non-range gated HPRF is used in velocity search. But it's going to be recognized as a search by a scan rate -Yes STT uses-non range gated HPRF, but it does periodic "supersearch" rasters with MPRFLU burst ranging at specific intervals. -During illumination. It's staring directly at the target using high dutiy cycle HPRF with no change in waveform until impact. No MPRF waveform is used during this time.
  4. Even when it works, SPO15 gives too many false and meaningless warnings. It is as useless as the SPO10 (the one used in the Mig21, Mi24) at this time.

  8. Если речь о ffbeast то отключаем все эффекты кроме directx ffb и ослабляет демпферы практически до 0. Методом проб и ошибок установил что демпфера 15% вроде как позволяют пройти проверку асу.

Правильнее будет сказать, закрылки поддавливаются скоростным напором т.к не имеют замка выпущенного положения и где то на скорости 440 набегающий поток начинает продавливать гидроцилиндр ( где то выше я приводил график зависимости угла от скорости) Но это не СОС-3 ими управляет, она скорее управляет выпуском носков ну и толкает РУС для предотвращения дальнейшего увеличения угла атаки и сваливается. По крайней мере я так понял информацию со скринов.

  11. Taxiing (4-wheel) is strange… Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn’t. 4-wheel – LCT auto, AFCS off, and doing it really slowly (2–4 kts). For the steering knob I use the twist axis on my joystick. Sometimes it just keeps turning or refuses to turn, and I have to completely stop and start again. About a 60–70% success rate… 2-wheel seems to work for me, I do it the same way as you, only using a little bit less aft cyclic trim (between 1.5–2 inches; when I use 2 inches, I just go backwards, but it can be my mystake) for the initial “front lift.”

  15. Dont know about the procedures, but I will test the electric system updates as soon as I have free time available, in particular I want to see if these bugs have been solved: I will report my findings on those threads. Also, grateful for your hard work keeping the manual updated. Eduardo

  19. That's not what he said, his comments were about the late 80s, where this is absolutely true. And the E is worse at BFM than the C or the Mig-29. But in any case that doesn't really matter, since before the end of the Cold War, the number of F-15s in Europe was lower than many people think. The Mig-29 very realistically could have gone against F-4Es, F-4Fs, F-16As and yeah a handful of F-15Cs, but that wasn't the primary air superiority fighter of NATO in Europe when it comes to raw numbers.

  21. Why would you compare a MiG-29 to a F-15?! That's exactly why I state that you are making a ludicrous comparison. F-15 is a superiority fighter meant to operate behind enemy lines. It's counterpart was/is Su-27, which btw. outperforms the F-15 in many aspects, range being one of them. The MiG-29 is rather comparable to F-16, and you might as well complain that the F-16 has little internal fuel. F-16 has higher coin speed, thus BFM requiring energy to boot - higher energy means higher speed in this case. Higher speed, means less fuel efficiency for a non-delta design. In whichever way you want to look, it does not look favourable for either a F-16/F-15, least of all, costs. What is seldomly discussed as well, is that you wouldn't want too much fuel on an airframe if it is to operate in a relatively close vicinity to an airfield, simply because once the pilot theoretically expends his ammunition, he'll have to waste time eating up fuel to get down to maximum landing weight. A country like Israel has that worked out to perfection, they'd know (with 7 minute turn arounds and sustained airfield operations regime for at least 18-24 consecutive hrs). MiG-29 does not have little fuel at all, it's just that it has the ability to consume whatever fuel it has, incredibly quickly.
  22. In all the other helicopters I've flown, there is an option in the Special tab to disable rudder trim. But for AH-64D, this option is not there. I have spring pedals so the position of the rudder getting set whenever I trim is very inconvenient and honestly I have no idea how I'm ever going to get used to flying like this. Is there no way to disable it? Can't imagine it's hard to add just like all the other Helis have it? How do all of you with springs deal with it?

I wondering why im having 95% of the time bad FPS on server like contention : When i first spawn in, my FPS are generally capped at 120FPS which is great However short time after taking off, my FPS goes down to 40-60 FPs and averaging 40 FPS with my GPU at 30% usage. Then it will remain at 40-50 FPS until i leave the server ? Any idea why ? 4K /DLSS Performance RTX 3090 13900KS 32Gb RAM Currently on syria map as contention is on syria only until next rotation. havent tested on other map
  24. It's still there. You can just see more AROUND it, but you the mirrors are still focused on the pilot unless you adjust them so far you can hardly see them at all.
