+1. It takes me a good amount of back stick pull to get the F-16 off the ground. I have had this for months now. The speed has to go above 200kt to takeoff and above this speed I am pulling hard on the stick. I feels something is holding the jet to the ground so much so that when it finally lift off, I would have to apply some level of forward stick movement so as not pitch up high. Glad someone brought this up for clarification. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk -
Making DCS Accessible for Blind Players – A Realistic Proposal

It's the matter of output. What is calculated in the sim goes to your display but for them it's going through sound/speech. -

Sorry to hear about your brother! And yeah, it's wild how many institutions rely on trying to force old stuff to work because it ended up becoming the foundation of a massive and hugely important system. I can only imagine how tough it is for the developers having to try and work with the core DCS engine to add all of these new features and things that were never even a dream to be considered forever ago when the original foundation was being laid down. It's honestly incredible how far the ED team has been able to bring their engine over the years. I randomly found Flanker 2.0 back around 2001 or so and just grabbed it because it looked fun, and that started my lifetime addiction to the ED flight sim world. By the time Lock-On was coming around, I was scouring the internet for any piece of detail on the game I could find, and once it came out, I was reading updates and checking screenshots every time they came out. I still remember the now "Old" Mi-24 being teased in the screenshots they had back then, and just thinking how incredible the texture and details were on the thing. The bulged tires and weight blew my mind. And even then, I could have never imagined that we would get to where we are now, with a Dynamic Campaign engine in the pipes and the massive graphical makeover that the game has had in recent years. -
if you are both having a similar issue, I'd suggest joining the Virtual Desktop Discord and posting the issue there.

ok, ill take care of it and test.Thanyk you very much Update: vr PROCEDURE; how exact needs this to be?! -
I had issues with that too, for the first time in the module. Normally I have the Greben in MAG, but I figured with all these mountains around there's probably some interference (I actually don't know if that's modelled), so I switched to GYRO but that didn't improve matters in a noticeable way. DISS-15 is known to have problems in mountainous regions but I wasn't using that...

Hi, this is correct as is in game. We have updated the manual, however the highlighted part was not present in the latest manual update, but will be included in the next thank you -

You're not aligning the rings to be concentric inside the BRU tube. You want them centered in the tube, and your crosshairs centered on the rings. -
Hello, I am new to Pimax family and I have experience the mentioned tracking issues. One of my questions is there anything being done to optimize the pi_server.exe process? It's using quite a bit of CPU and I wonder if that's contributing to part of the tracking problems. I have noticed a significant improvement in removing unnecessary background process have seemed to help and relocating the USB connection to a PCI card for USB connections, instead of the motherboard connection. I hope this can help someone.

Mission 2 after-action report: Subtitles are outside of my normal field of view: I actually have to look up and to the right to see them. But perhaps it's different for different headsets.

I absolutely agree that the current implementation does not make sense. I only stated that the suggestion that the “quarter” from the manual implicitly refers to “1/4 inch”, is a too small travel to give an exact number for - the manual would have said “closed throttle”, or “full back” or something of the sort. What did the manual refer to? I don’t know. Maybe the throttles had some “free” travel where they were still “idle” before increasing boost and thus 1/4 travel was still low boost. If DCS insists that this is the correct implementation than I just ask for the “special option” to disable the horn.

Your source that its correct? From the manual it says no FLCS light should illuminate when operating controls

Welp...can't say you can't do a super hornet anymore...
Ramius007 replied to CallsignPunch's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I would way more preffer smtg like earlier lot Hornet C with L4, no DL, GPS, but with Nite Hawk and older Harms, if you think about Super Hornet in current DCS enviroment, it would be boring, slower with 2 extra hardpoints, need AESA radar to be made from nothing, ton of work, for propably OP and brain dead gaming experiance, like firing super long range a2a missiels onto 40y old red DCS assets, and even mods not cover this that well either, except maybe su-30 to some extent, 5th gen mods are broken in too many ways, also need new generations of a2g weapons for SH, for again obsolete in core DCS assets, like best being 40y old s-300. DCS currently have massive hole in playable modules, ED jumped from old 70's F-5 and Mig-21, FC3, and RB m2k that cover mostly early 80 single role, rith into 2000's 3th gens like Hornet, Viper and later JF-17 and F-15SE, entire 80's and 90's multirole is a blank space in DCS, it's bad both for pve and pvp, when someone aim realistic scenarios, things like standard arm and older than HARM C SEAD would be welcome. It's easier to do with Hornet than current Viper -
send it to me in a pm thanks

Per that FAQ, is there a download link for 2.5.3, or must one raise a support ticket to get that version?

Hi, I have removed the image from the above post, please remember our 1.16 forum rule when posting A pm is often better if you are sharing real world documents. I will run this past the team, but as mentioned previously we have checked and all seems correct. thank you
