  2. I do (as there is no other option due to this bug) but that is irrelevant. The aircraft should be able to taxi in a crosswind. That's the whole point of this thread.

  5. That's the case in the cockpit - but the missile tracks continuously once fired. And given that the Shrike doesn't feature target memory and that once radars go off the air the Shrike stops tracking and it doesn't resume tracking even if the radar resumes transmitting moments later, this behaviour is inconsistent. On the one hand some argue that the Shrike cannot detect sidelobes but don't give a reason for it. On the other hand the Shrike has a guidance section exclusively for a radar that rotates, a radar whose mainlobe is only 4.5° wide, with a period of 5 seconds (meaning that the Shrike is only illuminated by the mainlobe for just 0.0625 seconds for each revolution of the radar, with then a 4.9375 second interruption). In cockpit, against the P-19, the tone from the cockpit is mostly continuous so long as it's close to the boresight with interruptions being few and far between and decrease in frequency and duration as the aircraft closes the distance - which inconsistent with #1 but is consistent with thew Shrike being able to detect other lobes so long as they're powerful enough. The interruptions decreasing frequency and duration also makes sense as distance closes, as more sidelobes (and even backlobes) become detectable. Once fired, the Shrike appears to track continuously. When fired against a radar that goes off the air after a short duration, the Shrike can be seen to lose tracking - the control surfaces neutralise and the Shrike is unguided flight. Once the radar resumes transmitting however, the Shrike resumes guided flight (though in my track, it still missed, probably due to, at least in part, me not giving it enough of a dive angle). These points are contradictory - if #1 is true, why does the Shrike track the radar continuously and why is there a near constant tone in the cockpit, when this radar is only presenting a mainlobe for 0.0625 seconds out of every 5? If anything the tone from the cockpit would be reversed. AGM-45_P-19_brief_offtheair.trk AGM-45_P-19.trk
  6. In the latest MiG-29 Navigation video the mobile PRMG/RSBN beacon was demonstrated in a form of a RSBN-car (timestamped video) Would you be so kind to support this in the MiG-21 as well? That way the community won't have to do all sort of manual fixes to get the RSBN working on all maps.

Danke das hilft mir weiter.. Vielen dank das hilft mir auch weiter
  8. RSBN car shown in ME [WIP]:
  9. I see you have not ticked "Pimax Central priority rendering" either. I will try that also. Maybe that'll help. Edit: Didn't help.
  10. It was quite clearly explained. You can have a as much points as you want, but the aircraft will know only 6 of those at any time and of those 6 only 3 can be airfields as you can assign only 3 points to the Airfields tab in the DTC and 3 points to the Waypoints tab. What wasn't touched on (or I missed it) is can you update which points will be loaded in the aircraft while on the ground only (I assume so as the ground menu is the only way you can reach DTC interface while in-cockpit).
  11. Today
  12. I also wanted to ask same question. At least the first one. And for second question, I think beacon waypoints are the ones programed to airfields. Beacons such as ARK, RSBN. Maybe someone can correct me.

  14. I’ve touched base with StoneSky and they’ve confirmed it’s the same rockets loadout in their campaign
  15. @Someone Is it just the camera or we can see the body in 1st person view, or even can other player see us walking around from another aircraft in MP?
  16. Thanks for the feedback mate, much appreciate the confirmation. I’ve pinged Bignewy for the dev team and will be attaching a track file for my instant mission replication to the ED bug report as requested.
  17. I'm back 😄

  18. Some more carrier landing training in the Corsair aboard the Intrepid The tri-color camouflage is the best-looking livery on a Corsair, in my opinion
  19. There are answer his interview why delyed this thing this thing will delay 5yrs more i bet "Many documents are not public or classified, so we rely on public sources."
  20. I understand it may be a very important issue for you, but I want to temper your expectations, this is not a high priority issue so please understand your timeline for a tweak to the contrails will not likely be met. The last thing I want is you getting frustrated. thank you
  21. You don't taxi back on a Carrier after landing. You just land, then take off from where you landed. ..
  22. Thanks @mbucchia Just wanted to say everytime I start Steamvr the Oasis addon is blocked due to crash. Unblock it..restart Steamvr and it blocked again. But will try your solution. Thank you for your time and patience with this idiot. I initially it correctly but with one caveat. I was getting massive stutters/framedrops looking left and right quickly..they were not present previously prior to Oasis upgrade. ps....am gladly waiting to contribute on your wiki page when this gets bedded in and resolved.
  23. Just would like a fix or disable posibility. But at the moment more than that, any thoughts about this from the dev's please. The bug is present from the beginning of DCS so i'm getting a bit impatient ..sorry, my bad.. Limiting flight altitudes to avoid seeing the bug will not work on servers and already build campaigns I'm glad it is reported, but that is not the answer to the question. Pictures and the explanation of 777coletrain says it all..No tracks needed i would think. Regards
  24. I keep oil radiator flaps a crack open and the cowl flaps as needed, depending on speed. Only time I get engine seizure is when I forget to check the two gauges, and let oil and/or cylinder head overheat. This is particularly important during landing where you have high power and low airspeed. So, make sure to scan those two gauges frequently and you'll be fine.
  25. Happens to me in Normandy 2.0 as well though.
  26. While taxiing under no wind conditions is obviously very problematic, it is still possible (by applying excessive power and wheel brake); but with a headwind, it is not at all possible to turn past 90 degrees, in either direction and regardless of the amount of power applied, which is due to the aircraft's exaggerated tendency to turn into the wind. This is particularly noticeable on a carrier deck. You just can't taxi back for taking off again after landing.
