  2. Does anyone have/know where I can find/have a link to a picture of the stick and throttle with all the buttons labelled, such as you can find in a Chuck's guide, for example? I like to map the buttons on my throttle and stick as closely as possible to that of the real aircraft. Thanks.

  4. Is there a list of all preset radio channels for Russian airports? I could not find it in the kneeboard or cockpit. For example, it exists on MiG-21's right wall. In MiG-29 I have to take a guess which channel is preset to which frequency.
  5. Worth noting that the bellows measure "airspeed" at the bellows intake sitting on your tail, next to the anti-collision light. If that probe gets damaged (e.g. combat damage) or clogged (e.g. ice/frozen when flying without pitot-heat turned on), it cant do its job and the bellows will go absolutely bonkers on your stick. And since the trim-system connects to the bellows, the trimming wont do anything useful anymore at all either. And since the engineers didnt think of adding a way to disable the bellows/bobweight linkage, you will have a fun time flying back home. The procedure is to disable all assistance systems by pulling the ARI CB (left subpanel), disabling the STAB AUG system (left console aft) and pulling the CBs for STAB AUG and TRIM (right wall). Set trim to 0 so when the system kicks back in you wont be caught by surprise. Then hard grip the stick, not let it go, and descent to hotter air to hopefully remove any bellow intake blockage.
  6. Whenever I hit play again it takes me back to the into "mission" when the actual mission loads in the LANTIRN is not working. Something is happening with the .miz files loading in a chain.
  7. Why am I getting radar locked symbol in my HMD using irst when I have the radar turned off???...is it a bug? ,or does it turn it on when a lock command is issued...OR... is it the missile radar that's locking the target??
  8. Ive been trying to complete a proper cold start, and with my FFBeast base, I am totally unable to obtain a DAMPER OFF light to go off.. any clue ? anywhere where this is addressed ? thanks !

  12. Think of it like that: (and ofc i drew the arrows the wrong way around, lmao. Increasing airspeed pulls aft. Increasing G pushes forward) The idea is that it self-balances the aircraft, more or less. When you dive, your airspeed increases. So the bellows start to pull the stick aft to lift you back up. High G typically means high AoA, typically means in order to get back to level flight the stick needs to be pushed forward. So the bobweights get heavier which causes the stick to push forward.
  13. This is happening to me as well, in a newly updated 2.9.20, but only in the Persian Gulf map (and probably in other maps too - I haven't checked any other map yet). I've tried checking in both Client and Player settings. In the Caucasus map, it works fine though.

  15. I think the key here is they said "Several negative drag errors in logs - fixed". They didn't claim to fix them all. What you're seeing is "normal" (at least in the sense that it's in virtually every log).

  17. Attaching a track file from a session where this is occurring (short as possible, preferably on the Caucus map) or a copy of the mission will help the devs figuring out the problem. There are way too many variables that may influence things and mess with trying to reproduce this from scratch. You can save a track file from the debrief screen when you finish the mission.
  18. I mean thats probably the case, but it should work with the radar on at least in the MPRF/pursuit mode.
  19. Yes, we do: say the flip up trigger activates button 5 in the DCS bindings. That way “gun safety trigger up” is ‘Button 5’ and “gun safety down” is ‘Button 5_OFF’. This works just fine, as described above. But you don’t actually need 3 bindings, just 2: “gun safety up” is called “gun first detent” in the control bindings.
  20. No worries, much of the MiG-29 is coming from the non-English side of the team, including the manual, so some of it is a little rough right now.
  21. I actually read through the whole changelog usually but could have missed, but I went back and checked and it's not mentioned in F-18 or general sections at all.
  22. I’m not sure how it works with VKB, but with my Virpil grip, I bind “gun first detent” to ‘flip trigger up’ and “gun second detent” to the first detent of my actual trigger. It works flawlessly: flipping up the trigger activates gun mode and makes the two-stage trigger available for use (it is no longer blocked by the flip up trigger). Flipping the trigger down deselects gun mode and returns to inboard/outboard whichever was in use. There is an alternative that also works. Simply use the flip up trigger in the up position as default, bind trigger down to “gun first detent” and pull flip up trigger to “gun second detent”. This also frees the use of the dual stage trigger for something else… Either way works, but the former is more intuitive to use in my opinion, since I often use the flip up trigger as master arm switch in other modules.
