  2. The Locomotive and Mk1 coaches pictures are from an old 2022 picture. Looks nice but was probebly Early Click Bait to buy the Map. Maybe its baked into the map as theres no smoke. A Baked in Example is the DCS Marianas WW2 Huge "narrow gauge" baked in Locomotive Monstrosity that is even taller than the German Class 86 ! Better to Build your own Locos and rolling stock and Blow up the DCS ones on mission start like i do its not rocket Science !
  3. I agree, 'F6 Released weapons view' has just little practical use. I suggest to use 'F6 Weapon to target view' <ctrl+F6> instead.
  4. Maybe they don't have any photographs of the original one? According to Wiki the original one was standing from 1861 to 1961. I'm not Parisien so I don't know what pictures to look for. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Haven't had a chance to test things since my original post. Although the behavior is different than the other modules, the solution here is to not only invert the pitch axis in Moza, but also in DCS. The trim now moves the stick in the correct direction. Marking as solved. Thanks all.
  6. It is DCS web viewer (a 3rd party addon ) that ASC seems to have added by default to their popup. As a 3rd party, they offer Patreon as a way to support them and it give you various additional benefits. You can use it now already in Heatblur's ingame browser, OpenKneeboard, etc. See If you want to know what the membership costs and brings to the party then click on 'member options' over at https://www.patreon.com/DcsWebEditor
  7. So on the latest preview option, Tricker goes through showing off the map on the kneeboard and the various different map options you can choose, from the normal DCS F10 map, to google maps etc. if you pause and zoom in to see all the map options and there are quite a few which is impressive. One of them is pro maps for Patreon. Im rather intrigued at what the pro map will bring to the party, as the normal maps shown that appear to be included normally already look stunning. I was wondering if you guys could tell us what the difference between the normal and pro maps will be, and if course the monthly Patreon subscription cost you are looking at for access to it? Very sorry for the forthcoming meltdown that will likely happen, as it’s the first time something has been essentially locked behind a paywall in DCS. But it’s gonna happen now or on release, so you might as well get it over with.
  8. Yeah, I figured it was an idea, but AFAIK the idea never got as far as so much as having AIM-9s test fired. At least according to the War Zone, the pilot who publicised the F-117's supposed air-to-air role stated that it was never an operational capability, even if it is quite an interesting hypothetical one (see Red Storm Rising for instance).
  9. I’m giving up on air to ground for now. no matter what I do or try the bombs keep falling way short. Guess we will have to wait for a fix?
  10. This bridge was constructed between 1997 and 1999. I'm confused. What am i missing?
  11. ЗРК. "Берёзка" спит Запись1.mp4
  12. Honestly, currently the view angle for weapons is just horrible, its very close up and its from underneath, one has no reference point at all where the missile is, where its heading etc... so please change this to look something like in the 2 last screenshots (let the horizon be visible and move the view further out... please)
  13. Update has not been released yet so you will not find it on the current Normandy map
  14. Does anyone know where can I find this tram and this USA steam-loco on the map ? Thanks
  15. Today

  17. Yeah many people don't know about it. I don't remember if it was even mentioned in the changelog when it was implemented a couple of years ago. Very handy!
  18. After Enigma's (insightful at times) "leaked" video last week: I'd just like to say, DCS still has no rival. It will NEVER be bug free (it is WAY too complex and comprehensive), never. Most of the negative comments about DCS underneath his video are absurd to me. The constant comparison to BMS is mind-boggling. If DCS was an F-22, BMS is a Cessna 152 by comparison. The Dynamic Campaign is really very cool, but you're talking about a platform that had one archaic map and one aircraft. Try pulling that off with 50+ high fidelity aircraft, dozens of different maps, with exceptionally high graphic standards, controllable ground vehicles, and wildly compl....oh, wait. ED is ACTUALLY trying to do just that! My only real criticism has been that they've spread themselves WAY TOO THIN! But I do not fault them for being ambitious. Have they blundered some 3rd party business? Yes, it is impossible to be a business for decades and not burn a bridge now and again. Can they reconcile those differences? Of course. At the end of the day, DCS is the only air combat simulator right now that is cutting/bleeding edge in my book. Period. Dot. Keep up the good work, team.
  19. Do you see these silver paddles on back of throttles?
  20. макс скорость В-1 1.25М, с чего вдруг не догонит
  21. Yeah that seems like a very very low range
  22. Ok, I see this got marked as ‘correct as is’. Then in the manual, page 17 figure 10, #4 and #13 are incorrect. As the white pointer is not showing any desired course, but rather the bearing to either a wp or a/d, as selected. However, understand that this would make it different than what the actual mig-29 manual states, and even how this pointer behaves in the fc3 versions of the mig-29 and su-27/25, where the wide pointer does indeed show the desired course to the selected point.
  23. Unfortunately I experiencing the same: nothing happens when I push that refresh button. Moreover: refresh should reload/re-read not only changed/edited textures but associated description.lua files as well and the Encyclopedia Viewer (and the LOADOUT viewer too) should works similar as/to ModelViewer. Wishlist: LMB + mouse movements: ROTATE RMB + mouse movements: MOVE/SLIDE the model horizontally/vertically Mouse Wheel rotation/scroll: camera slow close/far - forward/backward 3rd mouse button: Pushing Mouse Wheel + mouse movements: camera fast move forward/backward Double RMB clicks: reset view: default model/camera position & FOV and/or would be nice to combine all mouse movements with usage of LShift, LCtrl, LAlt, LWin keys. Also would be nice to add 4th and 5th mouse button usage into DCS. (for example: 4th mouse button + mouse movements: changing wide/narrow camrera view FOV) Loadout View should use the same as above wishes: mainly I missing: RMB + mouse movements: MOVE/SLIDE the model horizontally/vertically
  24. Already exist. You can use any hat/button, and they will only browse the radio menu, when the menu is open. I don't remember what the "category" in the controls settings is called. But in the module drop down look for "command" or something similar. Personally, I use a free pling for VoiceAttack that let's me speak the commands. So I don't use the radio menu "at all". It's still needed for some cargo sling loading. Cheers! @BIGNEWY @NineLine This thread can be closed, and marked as "already implemented" in the header or something, as the wish has been granted years ago! Cheers!
