Hmm do the servers tend to have both the FF and FC3 versions of the F-5 available as an example? I thought it tended to be only the FF one (but now I'm doubting myself )

I have no idea how it works in your country, but in mine auto builders have to keep a stock of spare parts by law, so the auto industry comparison does not work. If Ugra goes out of business today, what will you think when Syria or Germany stop to work? Anyway, we should not go off topic on this threat.

I've also struggled to hit with Shrikes on this mission. I have been able to take out the SA-2 with guns, but have gotten killed by AAA to get close enough. The briefing makes it sound like success is not assured, so perhaps it's programmed to make the missiles unlikely to hit.

Are the details of tanker location for each mission somewhere I'm missing? The briefing for the missions gives a callsign, but does not specify a location or altitude. Page 13 of the inflight guide has the general tanker tracks with locations levels and even A/A TACAN, but I'm not seeing a direct connection between the two. In Mission 2, for example, Texaco 6-1 is definitely in AR-641A. I used the inflight guide to find it using TACAN, but only after seeing that the tanker was in that sector. It was also at FL 240, and the guide says that the maximum altitude is 230. It's easy enough to figure it out with the F10 map, but is there a more immersive way to figure out the refueling plan of the day? By the way, the overall level of immersion in this one is outstanding. When there was a minor glitch in the aerial refueling that caused Jester to switch to the wrong frequency, I was able to address it by checking the guide for the tanker frequency and then dialing that in and taking command. Love the attention to detail!

HI. I have now flown the F86 a little more and I think it is ok I have to pull the stick a little less in turns, have a more gentle controlled pull and it is ok the airspeeds does not drop that much. I guess one just needs some practice after all.

Glad it's working for you now! Just to be clear, the TM Warthog should be plug and play with DCS. If I understand correctly, you needed to load the existing TM Warthog Throttle and Joystick config files for DCS to recognize the device and apply its default bindings - but that really should not have been necessary. The standard trouble-shooting in such a case would be a) DCS Repair from the Launcher or b) renaming Saved Games\DCS\config\input so that DCS works with a blank default input configuration. But if it's working okay for you now, all the better!

Из книжки И. Бедретдинова: Не знаю. Наверное в настоящем самолёте при повреждении одной из магистралей, или перекрытии крана одна из этих полосок показывала ноль. Но это моя догадка. Пусть кто-нибудь лучше поправит. Су-25Т это упрощённый модуль. Тут нельзя выбрать, с какого пилона сбрасывать, и не важно, сколько выработалось топлива. Сброс всегда идёт от внешних пилонов к внутренним. Но сначала всегда баки. Если четыре бака, то при первом нажатии LCtrl+W сойдут внешние, при втором - внутренние. После баков сбрасывается вооружение воздух-поверхность. Также каждое нажатие LCtrl+W сбрасывает симметрично по одной паре по порядку от внешних пилонов к внутренним. Последними сбрасываются ракеты воздух-воздух, если их четыре, то опять от внешних к внутренним.

Its the same as if you purchase a new car and a few years after its maker folds, after a time you can't purchase some spare parts for it, and in the long term it stops to function, its a risk we take when we purchase things .. would you say that the car company "stole" it from you? ... if you truly believe that then you should call the police and report the theft.

There's a good chance an L-39 v2 will come out, just like the A-10C v2 and Ka-50 v3. That's why this won't be fixed any time soon.

Hello, In spite that many systems are not fully modeled, I found that it was possible to edit a fairly complete Cold Start training mission, like this: If you want to try the mission yourself (requires the Modern Marianas Map), here is a download link: F-104C - Training - M01 Cold Start (by Rudel_chw).miz I will next edit a Taxi & Take-Off follow up mission, and then a VFR landing one, to get a proper training set. If you find a bug with the mission, please let me know here and I will do my best to fix it.

If you're buying a new motherboard, go AMD. I've swapped, and I bought my first AMD CPU ever. 9800X3d is a monster and runs cooler than my 13700K ever did (both with the same size water coolers). The latest Intels are hardly any faster than a 13 series but use even more power. Consider the PSVR2 - it does well in DCS and can now support foveated rendering which, I agree, is a fantastic way to boost performance without extra hardware cost. I run a 4080 (don't judge my decision on that, the insurance company paid for it) and I'm very happy indeed with my VR setup. Can it be bettered? I'm sure it can - but the price/performance is excellent compared with the new gen of micro-oled HMDs. No, I don't want to go back to no stinking LCD :D

I haven't flown this bird since it first came out and the ffb was really messed up. Seeing as I only have a ffb stick I put the plane back into the hangar. Anyone with a ffb stick know if they've finally brought it up to snuff in any of the latest updates? Thanks
