Насчет языков, коллеги, извините, не соглашусь. Если 50% участников русскоязычные (а это так и было два крайних LOCERF), они имеют право читать на своем языке. Замечания о том, что нужно учить языки, считаю, не к месту. Все ИМХО, конечно.1 point

See I cannot understand that someone who has a really good sound card such as X-Fi to, because of Vista, have to get worse sound card in order not to have this sound bug?! I tried motherboard onboard sound and the sound was still buggy. I absolutely regret buying Vista.1 point

I agree that all participants should have the rules available to them. I will also agree that any future changes to the rules must be announced in a easily found place. I do not agree that it is the responsibility of the LOCERF staff to make them available anywhere other than the LOCERF forums. I'm sure you do not want a Babelfish Russian translation of the rules and that is all I could provide you. I know that some of you speak English quite well and could provide an accurate translation. As for my presence in this forum, don't expect it to continue indefinitely. Recent circumstances made me feel it necessary. I was a pilot in CA so I saw the same things you saw there. I was a pilot in LOCERF 08-1 and saw the same things you saw. I then became administrator of LOCERF and wanted to make sure you knew that the problems that plagued 08-1 were not normal. Also, from what I see in this forum, thoughts that I had hoped to convey to the whole Russian speaking contingent were not being relayed to you by your representative. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, I've seen that this community has insulated itself from the other groups involved in LOCERF. Obviously, language has some part in this but perhaps some of this is based upon lack of trust. From the previous community events that I mentioned, I can see a basis for distrust. I've seen some posts here that show that some of you felt cheated in 08-2. I felt compelled to show you that the event was scored fairly and the scoring system was not a secret. But there certainly was a breakdown in communication. We can overcome this.1 point

Ya they arew dzus... those are all quick access panels, especially on the left side of the nose. I think the work on the skins is great but the grid pattern, especially on the wings and engine cowls, stands out so much it takes your attention away from the real beauty of the skin work. Dirty skins are fine but when I look at that Flipper skin all I see is the grid pattern... it's over done IMO.1 point

Trim in helicopters is used ot create an artificial "feel" in the controls when you have hydraulic systems moving the swashplates around. Without it, it is extremely easy to overcontrol because you can't "feel" what the controls are doing. This artificial feel is created using springs. When the trim button is not being pushed, magnetic brakes apply to a piston attached to the flight controls, so that any movement of the controls is forced to go through a spring. These springs provide feedback when moving the controls around. When you make a large movement, such as when landing or maneuvering, you press the trim release button (as in the video). This releases the magnetic brakes on the controls, so that the springs, in effect, begin to free-float and you don't feel them in the controls any more. The force trim has nothing to do with the autopilot system, which will continue working to stabilize the helicopter regardless of whether or not the trim is on or not. All that force trim button does is engage and release the magnetic brakes on the flight controls, which either adds or removes the spring tension from the controls. Push it in, no spring tension, release is, you get spring tension back. In other words, when the force trim is on (button is not pressed) the stick will stay where it is even if you let go of it. As far as I know, force trim is not able to be turned off completely in the Ka-50 (I know for sure it cannot be turned off completely in the Mi-8/17), it can only be "interrupted" by pushing the trim release button. In the AH-64, it operates the same way, but you can turn it completely off so that you don't have to press a button to interrupt it, but that isn't used very often.1 point

Чит - применение недозволенных приемов (модифицирование подвески ЛА, использование мешающих прицеливанию и стрельбе недокументированных приемов - PrintScreen, например). Бан - запрет входа на сервер на определенное время или навсегда. Кик - разовое удаление с сервера. Филд - аэродром. Сквад - группа, объединение или подразделение. Вулч - уничтожение противника на аэродромах. Пинг - время отклика сервера. Тимкил - уничножение своего.1 point
