hahhhhh no no NO!! That's 6.5 hours by my watch.

New movie out! 30 hours or so used in editing of this film! I needed to grab all footage at half speed (tip from GA in his movie thread) and because of this, all audio is out of sync. Anyway, sounds recorded from a game from a mic is not any good, so I needed to add all sounds and music in postprocess. Timeconsuming yes it was! Plus side, I managed to record with HDR bloom mod and high scenes etc, more trees etc. AA/AF stills kill the fps so until new rig you have to live without it on my videos! Hope you like it! I voted for 3sqn server. Their missions arent that long, they are designed for team playing quick missions...but not hard enough that you couldnt kill everything on the ground in the 3 hours alloted. It only gets better if you have decent air cover. But then again, I rarely fly LOMAC anymore (once, maybe twice a month).

I'll try to put it without the scarry mathematics that stand behind the answer of your question. For every helicopter rotor there's one very important parameter which determines it's efficiency. Not sure about the exact english term but the closest translation is 'fill ratio'- it is the proportion between the sum of all blades' surfaces (projection of the blade in the rotor disk) and the rotor disk area. The optimal value is 7-9%. This range provides the best aerodynamic and power efficency of the rotor. Every gas-turbine helicopter has a powerplant governed at Nr=const. This is another initial parameter that determines the number of blades, their shape (lenght), airfoil(s) etc. The basic rule while designing the rotor is to predict the velocity field during blade's azimuthal motion- blade's tip must not reach critical Mach numbers where local shock waves might occur- those phenomenas will highly decrease rotor's performance, increase the noise and structural loads of the whole construction. If you design a helicopter that should hit 300km/h you must pay attanetion on rotor's diameter and rotor governed RPM. By choosing a fill ratio will give you the number of blades and their chord. Reducing the aspect ratio (the length) of the blade is a bad decision- like a fixed wing this causes increased induced drag. Simple illustration of the advantages of the coaxial rotor is the experiments made by Kamov design bureau with two rotors- one single rotor with 6 blades and one coaxial in 2x3 (same blades- diameter and shape) set of counter rotating rotors. Both rotors (considering the coaxial rotor as one rotor composed of two counter rotating rotors) have the same RPM, collective pitch and fill ratio. The results have shown that the coaxial rotor needs in total 22% less power to create the same lift.

Hard to make a fear Vote here, people from a squad think obviously that their server is best, I would go for any server that try to keep some kind of realism,(hard to do because we all have different views of air combat reality). To be honest I join server were the crowd is biggest, Thx to Iomac community cant fill more then 2 servers, Biggest minority of pilots join servers where its fastest way and easiest way to get to ur target, when killing getting satisfaction of message popping up of I killed U., I dont blame them, what else is there to do if u dont fly as a team.

A personal opinion: For those buying a new PC, and are wondering which OS. I would suggest XP and not Vista for running DCS:BS at max performance, at least until a Vista SP2 or whatever is released. DCS:BS runs OK on Vista, see my specs below. Note my XP Desktop has option of 2 graphic cards, and the ATI 9800 Pro is not adequate, I am using it to define a minimum spec. I will need to upgrade the desktop to 2 GB. When we go code final, and only then, we will post minimum and recommended PC specifications.
