Сделал себе небольшой мод, меняющий форму одежды Российских пилотов в самолёте, после катапультирования и на внешних видах в кабине самолётов на камуфляжную повседневную, в которой фактически летают пилоты. При размещении файлов в папке Temp Textures игра их не воспринимает, поэтому пришлось зашивать в файлы cdds. Мод получился 70Мб. Если надо кому, пришлю на почту.

  11. I am happy to present my second and last product of this winters holidays, the scenario Red Snow, a Russian battalion sized offensive operation against German forces. I call this a scenario, because it actually includes 3 different missions of the same operation, each heavily randomized. http://cid-f33d8b1019e6f4ac.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/RedSnow.zip Alternate: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=64&file=1004 The basic features are: -Large scale scenario of roughly battalion vs. company size forces. Might be quite performance intensive on weaker computers. -Includes 3 different missions of the same scenario, Direct Fire Support, Flank Guard and Rear Area Attack. -A random selection of one of three different enemy defensive setups, each being a unique approach, almost makes this 9 missions total. Additionally there is plenty of randomization for non mission critical units making each try play different. -Includes a multiplayer version of the scenario for 6 players. -Features detailed ground operations including recon units and artillery. Units will often reposition on the battlefield. Defensive tanks will mostly fight from hull down battle positions, making them hard to spot and even harder to kill even for the player. -Radio calls of ground units (copyright @Gunship!) Suggestions, critics and comments are as always welcome. Enjoy :)

  12. Ctrl+Pause in the game and you get a FPS Counter in the top left corner :thumbup: Also keep in mind that the fps can change drastically depending on where on the map you are, (amount of trees etc.)

  16. I wish I could keep posting more info. I work on Mi-17 helicopters, and the information I posted it from our internal training documentation, and from one of our Mi-17 Maintenance Manuals. The engines and dust protectors are one of the few things on the Mi-17 that is virtually identical to the Ka-50. I'm not sure there is anything else that is really the same. If there is, I'll be happy to post more info. I was hoping to post info on the autopilot, but I'm not sure what model the Ka-50 uses.

  17. My suspicion would actually be that the CPU just tops out. On that laptop I can fiddle with the graphics settings quite a bit and it'll only change the framerate by one or two here and there. The fact that the engine itself isn't set up to take advantage of multicores MIGHT mean that my Intel E8500 (3.16GHz) PC is theoretically better for Black Shark than the one you have there - simply through getting more clock cycles on the one core that the game will be properly using. I haven't really looked at the Xeon architecture's capabilities though so who knows. Never easy to compare processors between architectures. The rest of the setup on this one is 4GB of DDR2 @ 800MHz, a regular SATA and a 9800GTX+. With that setup I get basically 25-40 as well and almost irrespective of the graphics settings. So I think the main things that would do wonders for Black Shark is an engine that will make full use of all cores present as well as use the PhysX features on the nVidia GPUs (and whatever AMD has that is equivalent on the Radeons) if they do not already do so. But yeah, it really could be almost anything for that guy. :(

  20. After a mission, in the screen that comes up and shows you what all has been killed and what side did it with what weapon. For the KA-50 the HE rounds for the cannon are marked as 20mm whilst the AP rounds for the cannon are marked as 30mm, is this correct or is 20 HE rounds a typo ?

  23. Hi, If you do need to make sharp manouvers at speed, drop the collective, and then smoothly apply the required inputs. If you try and roll left/yaw right at speed with lots of collective, you're going to end up having a REALLY bad day. ;) Best regards, Tango.

  26. Think of it as the helicopter is moving forward the blades on one side moves into the wind and on the other side with the wind. This is of course reversed on the other rotor and there fore they flex up at different sides, so on one side they flex apart from each other and the other side they flex towards each other.

Of course, there may be something in the .lua files that you could tinker with. However, I would suggest that you seriously consider removing the "trim reset" from your repetoir (or limit it to use when you are on the ground). It would appear that re-trimming in flight would be more appropriate. But then, I still suck at this, so what do I know? :smilewink: If you do find away to tweak the neutral trim setting, I imagine a bunch of folks will be interested in knowing how.

Many scanners were calling any autoit files viruses but most scanners won't anymore. http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/810df5c2e415a770c6585633206d6264 You'll notice only 4/39 scanners came up positive. Those four do not include any of the larger names in virus detection. You might want to wait a short while longer for Windows 7 instead of paying 150 bucks or so on Vista.

  32. DragonRR is right. Your path in the path box should always end with ka50. You can easily fix this in the registry editor. I was thinking myself that the sound and window was getting annoying. I'll work on it and upload the next version by the end of tonight. Also as NullCharacter suggested, it will now remind you to start the Trackir software if you have it. I just need to test it on my x64 partition.

In a Squad-Based environment, the aspects you are after almost always takes place to some degree :) From the structured, Squad Flights to the 'Hopping onto server' scenario if and when time permits, you'll almost always find a fellow squaddie online too. From there we always team up and fly in tandem/group in whatever mission. Personally I am an exclusive Multiplayer person - cannot seem to suffer the AI - and Squad life does tick all the boxes for me.

The top and bottom rotors flex towards each other on the right side, they're pretty close together when you're going 200+ kph so if you pitch up or put in right rudder they get even closer, put in enough rudder/pitch and the blades intersect. Just make very careful right hand or pitch up manoeuvres when going fast ;)

  40. :) Ну, типа, да. :) Я же написал, что с английским (в смысле, я понимаю английский довольно хорошо, а вот говорить проблематично, разговаривать не скем) у меня bad! В начале я вообще хотел написать injection, но передумал. :) В общем, хотел написать, что если не будет проблем с внедрением в проект, то самлик может появиться в "Акуле". Это то, что мне сказл Андрей Чиж.
