  1. Can you post a short track here showing the problem? I did some anti-ship strike on MP last week(8 to 10 missiles), but all with radar lock on target and had none missile ignoring a ship. The only "problem" was that both missiles went for the same ship sometimes instead of one in the front and back of the convoy.

English is not my fisrt language, maybe i phrased my post bad....but again, it was not meant to be negative against you, just a generall statement.

  4. In my opinion Petrovich does need a serious eye check up! I'm not advocating Petrovich should be able to see at night or other unrealistic stuff but he has a serious problem seeing things that are clearly visible with my own pilot eyes in twilight and i don't have a sight for magnification! Here is a quick and dirty test, i can see these targets clearly. It might be harder to see on the screenshot than it is in game(2d/VR). This is just a little over 3km away: Clearly visible from Petrovich's cockpit: And not to mention through is sight: This wouldn't be a problem with a human Petrovich, but our AI Petrovich just refuses to see any target in this situation! And that is what i would call at least unrealistic if not a bug. All screenshots were taken in active pause at the same distance/location and i did order Petrovich 20 times to look for targets and never got the list to choose one myself or him telling me that he has locked to something. If you would put some AAA there between the trucks.....yes they would shoot at you with nice tracer ammunition and Petrovich would still see nothing! As i said before, i don't want Petrovich to be able to have unrealistic sight(FLIR like sight at night...), but it is at least a little irritating that he can't see anything in the above situation but surprises me once in a MP session with reporting targets at full daylight that are completely invisible for me because they are hidden behind a tree line.... I hope ED will improve Petrovich before EA of the Hind ends.
  5. Nothing official right now about the A6 AI release date. Both, first will be an AI version release and in a couple of years we will have a FF module

Id didn't had time to start DCS yet but considering that the only DCS patch log was this: DCS World Network protocol version increased to avoid crashes connected to weapons in flight during joining of clients. I wouldn't hold my breath, but it wouldn't be the first time the patch log was not complete neither....
  7. This is the BUGS section, this reported bug is fixed INTERNALLY and will most likely be pushed by ED with the next patch. This [fixed] tag is only for bug report management, it was reported, it got fixed internally but this is not released yet. For that confirmation you have to wait for the next patch by ED and look up the patch notes for that patch. After release of the fix this thread will probably be moved to the fixed bugs section, if Deka has the time to do it.
  8. Hi @Flappie, the forum screewed up my post. Attached are the screenshots of the resource monitor(german) that i opened after i closed DCS and saw that the DCS.exe kept running. If i try to reproduce this with the resource monitor in the backgound the DCS.exe closed normally at every try to reproduce this. Also if this happens i can start DCS again without DCS complaining about a still running DCS.exe. That lead to 2 DCS.exe kept running after i closed the game once. The problem is that this still running DCS.exe is keeping one of my CPU cores busy -> high frequency -> high energy consumption -> high temperature -> fans active.....
  9. That sounds like some fun to do, but do we have an official loadout list yet? I didn't follow this bird that much but i remember all we had last year was some wiki guessing but no official word what armament we will get in DCS.
  10. Hi @Flappie I tried a couple times this week, only short tests because i had not much time and only SP, no VR and i had no problem. Today i tried it again, MP and VR, longer mission and i had the same problem again, DCS.exe didn't close itself after game exit. I opened the resource monitor - after game exit with the DCS.exe still running problem - and checked the DCS.exe but everything was blank(disk tab). So i started another MP session with the resource monitor still running, checked the DCS.exe and after i closed the game(shorter session this time) it didn't took long and the DCS.exe closed and disapeared from the reseource monitor before i could take screenshots, no dcs.exe visible in the taskmanager. BUT, checking the logs it looks like it still had a problem to close DCS? The log file looks the same as if i had to close the dcs.exe with the task manager and DCS generated a crash/dmp file, i deleted everything in the dcs logs folder before the second test session, all files attached. Running latest OB with todays patch and i did update my GPU driver to the new 22.2.1 version. dcs.log dcs.20220204-191921.crash dcs.20220204-191921.dmp
  11. Change weapon is the wrong function, that would do exactly what you describe it does. You have to look for the change/unselect station binding, it is the same binding for the nose wheel steering, with that you can jump between the stations with the same weapon type. Sorry, i can't help you with the route problem, it is to long i used these weapons on the Jeff.
  12. Maybe because you "hit" ground effect(~1/2 rotor diameter) earlier in the Mi-8?
  13. Hi @Flappie, i will try that the next days, i'm a little short of time right now. I did a very quick test a couple minutes ago. Start WMR and StemaVR, start DCS, start SP mission, exit to main menu, exit DCS. This time DCS closed normally(DCS.exe closed itself and did not kept running). I attach the log file from this normal game close just for comparison. I will keep investigating as soon as i have more time. dcs.log

  15. I did this before my latest MP session but unfortunately it didn't change anything. DCS.exe keeps running after game exit with the DCS folder on the AV whitelist. latest log attached dcs.log What are your system specs?
  16. The latest driver is 22.1.2 and that one is installed on my PC, and like i said, i had this problem also with my old nvidia 1080ti. I believe your number is showing the "internal" display driver version and not the "package" version. I always use the latest GPU drivers, except there is a critical bug. This started with one of the 2.7.x versions of DCS i believe. I think i remember that somebody else had the same problem and maybe @BIGNEWY replayed but i couldn't find the post again. Also the strange thing is that this doesn't happen everytime i close DCS but i would say more often than not. @Flappie I will wait if somebody has a solution here, if not i will open a support ticket tomorrow.
  17. I'm running the latest drivers for everything, GPU, chipset, BIOS, sound.... BTW, this also happend with my old 1080ti ! Is this maybe related to not running an english Win OS but a german? For example some keybinds don't work like expected, DCS keybind is "left alt + y" but i have to use "left alt + z" because y and z are different on an english and german keybord, just guessing here but it worked before so i guess it is a change in DCS itself.
  18. Over the last 2(?) months i saw repeatedly that the DCS.exe is still running after i exit the game from the main menu. The game will close, i'm back on my desktop but i keep having a "high" CPU load -> fans keep spinning "high" and if i check the windows task manager i see the DCS.exe is still running. Once i didn't notice it immediately and startet DCS again later, after closing the game i had 2 DCS.exe still running in the windows taskmanager. This happened in VR, 2d, SP and MP sessions, but it is not happening always. This was happening with my old Win 10 pro install, my clean Win 10 pro install and now with Win 11 pro. This happend with my old DCS install, i fresh DCS install and after doing a slow repair. I don't know if the latest log will help(MP session in VR), i had to manually close the DCS.exe again via the taskmanager. dcs.log
  19. Yes but the animation looks much better now than in the past, also you had to "headshot" any infantry with bullets and rockets in the past, no such thing as splash damage back then. Nice to see these improvements for us helicopter guys(or AG in general).
  20. Ok, your approach to your problem is to put a car in first gear, pedal to the metal and don't care why it's loud and slow, becuase it is driving after all. If you are fine with this "solution", so be it, have fun, but please don't complain about xyz "problem" in the future, i'm out. Looks like you're right. If i remember correctly we had the same situation also in other modules in the past, so....... like i said above, i'm out.
  21. No it's not solved because what you wrote is WRONG. Also you must be using a different kneepad because mine says: MIDDLE POSITION LOCKED and never it says put them in up position. PLEASE post a track file showing your problem, because we a courious why this happens to you and we want to help you. Learning the wrong thing isn't gonna help you!
  22. You guys do realize that Wags did change the Thread title to "Release by end of Q1 2022" ??? So why do you get your hopes high for a mid or end of february release? The newsletter said HOPEFULLY and not "promised". Expect it to be released on 31.03.2022 and be positively surprised if it's released before that date, or just keep waiting if it's delayed again. It's not that you have any other choice either if you want that module for DCS. Also the refund thing, it wouldn't be the first time people asked for a refund. Just contact ED support if you want one, that's how they done it in the past. It's just a module for a game, why can't people just wait for release of the module or wait to part with their money until it's released if they are impatiant? I mean it is ED, they never kept a "release date"! Just deal with it, one way or the other but why make everytime a fuzz about it on the forums? I don't get it. Yes i have pre-ordered it, no i will not demand i refund, yes i will wait even if it's delayed again. I mean HB did delay the F-14 for how long, over a year? What are 2 more months to wait. Just my 2 cent, like everyone else is entitled to post his opinion.
  23. I could be totally wrong here but for me it looked more like the 30mm has some splash damage against soft targets and killed that infantry guy instead of the need to snipe infantry with cannons or rockets. So i think that was splash damage instead of infantry "diving" into cover.
  24. That went totally by me, but i'm not following the forums as much as i did in the past. But thank you for clarification. Just make it like HB with the A-6E, first make it AI, than let us fly(it).
