  1. sub standard components that wear out quickly and low QC from saitek JMO.
  2. on the front page of the manual?
  3. do you think it was released to stop all the whining? as a form of punishment? J/K (or am i....?) as well as getting a revenue stream running and buying them more time to dig for the deeper bugs?
  4. how about setting bands in the slider options through the sst and assigning the appropriate settings to the band areas, perhaps using snap views? it may achieve what you want but it it would be "stepped" rather than a fluid movement. my saitek is buried atm, i replaced it after 5 years use with a TM:WH. i think i understand what you want to do, i'll have a wee think....
  5. have you tried adjusting the axis curve in the gui options. i found that useful when i had my 52 noob. i think i was using about 40 on the curve from memory as well as a dead zone. the biggest problem was the "twitch", that has happened to a number of people (hence the deadzone) have i understood your question? sorry, if i haven't.....
  6. in regards to q.1 have a look at Helios from sc simulations Here it could help with your decision.
  7. same. seen no f15s at all. just lots of noise then the gui screen
  8. lights go out with pc shut down. easy app to use for updating as well.
  9. you will think to yourself why did i not buy this sooner when you do........
  10. so.....puked my way through 2 pages and figured....ahhh! THIS is why Mowers wife beats him with a baton and pepper spray. Well deserved i reckon.
  11. Need to brush your teeth more........(JK):smartass:
  12. umm, question....do you have a TM Warthog Hotas?
  13. the one that says hotas warthog j-stick as well as throttle. its only plug and play with the TM warthog j stick. others need some mapping done
  14. you need to load the profiles through the profile tab in the options gui. highlight something in the stick column go to load profile and it should be good to go, same for throttle. you will have to map trim to the trim buttons as it stays as a view switch. GL
  15. you may need to reload the profile in the options gui and then make your changes and then save them to that profile. its sounds that it could have reverted to a default profile when you made some changes
  16. have you loaded the hog profiles? from the load profiles tab?
  17. you would have to plug it in to test that theory.....oh and start looking at LOADS of Pr0n!!! i wonder what the beta forum on that would be like........
  18. go into the game gui options screen find the trim settings and remap to the hat by clearing and adding.
  19. What a sweet ride.........can i get it PIMPed? anyone......? someone........? no-one!?.............?
  20. ED are currently looking for a printer/binder big enough for the job. (tongue in cheek) A lot of people are printing it out themselves there is argument if its best to wait for the rc and rc manual before going ahead in case there are changes. i would guess that it will remain in PDF format as it would be costly to create several thousand manuals and thus drive up the cost of the final product and diminish sales. if you have access to the Beta forum there is a thread in there about it. Chur!
  21. i have my centre speaker from the 5.1s above the monitor and it just sits on top of that for now, i will have to rethink when i move the comp from the lounge to the room down stairs. it could be a combo of distance and angle for you, have you tried it using the clip closer to the camera? Edit: perhaps a way around it is to raise the monitor on a stand or a couple of phone books so sits higher and then angle the camera down.
  22. have you tried repositioning the camera so it is "looking down" at the sensors as such. i have come across this as well and had to move the camera from off centre to centre high with a down angle. its sits about 5 inches above the monitor now in the centre. are you using the latest drivers for it? i have found them to be a pita and cause more problems that anything else, but thats just my experience with them. if there is no difference in tracking with the repo of the camera and your not happy, send it back for another (if you can)
  23. what he said ^ i have thrashed my hogstick in il2 and its got enough buttons for every thing i need and it can just bre mapped in game, without target. it would be good to try one out before laying the dosh down, so if you know anyone with 1, pay them a visit, or go to a shop to out what ever your thinking of the hog firmware can only get better.
