Great work, I also use MFDs in front of my VR seat, but use the rift's nose-peek "capability" to push the Harrier MFD butons for example...
The wheel lever looks really cool, simple and functional...
Confirming much of these...
Good you wrote this down cause I was just preparing for some serious windows/drivers harrasement...

To avoid updating 1.5.6 run it with "/bin/DCS.exe" only...
Use Skatezilla's updater to remove modules you don't have from your friend's install folder...
1.5.6 is indeed the last version that can breathe on medium graphics cards in VR.
Every latter one requires at least 1070/1080 on low/medium settings to reach ASW FPS of 45.
Interesting there you call them thumbsticks...
I actually swapped places on one the Warthogs for the slew thing... it really is now on the thumb position... an old Saitek X36 habit...
Is there room inside to mount this entire enclosure on the side and not the front position of the Warthog throttle?
Bring on the dude that has been in charge of explosions and effects from lockon till recently...
He must be a really good friend of the entire team...

While it is great to move the mouse in VR and click stuff, sometimes it is just faster and more natural to look at a switch and push a HOTAS bound operate button.
The problem is that the mouse is dislocated after mouse movement and it is often impossible to use it with head movement to point at a wished location in cockpit...
Is there a way to bind a "Center mouse pointer on VR view center" or to implement a simple in-sim "Toggle mouse use in VR" that would disable mouse movement when toggled and re-center the in-cockpit cursor to VR view center?
Can a moderator put this question in a VR wishlist or DCS 2.5 wishlist if it exists?
Thanks!

Maybe it's only matter of replacing a 3d object file in sim? Is it doable that way?
I remember changing A-10 trace lines to APC bullets in FC2 by editing a single line somewhere...
Does any of you guys maybe have a mission recording where Blooze's voice could be heard?
I am trying to enhance & complete a mission, probably the last one he was working on...
I am especially interested in the "Spool 'em up." on Hawg line-up...
Thanks!
Of course it's worth the moneyz...
Motion sickness is on an individual basis... some have zero issues with VR...
I had a rough two months of getting used to the Rift...
...every time being able to endure a tad more into the flight before resting...
...after some time it doesn't even touch you anymore...
Buy it... for the DCS sim, it's simply the way it was meant to be flown...
