Are you sure all the files you have are for 1.1.2.1? Also, it might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling in a different location.

If they were to make all FC3 aircraft to DCS standards, it'd probably have a different name, and cost around $30-60 per aircraft. Not that the price wouldn't be worth it, although I'd imagine if they did it as detailed as all that, they'd be released as individual modules, rather than one package. Who has time to learn all of those systems properly all at once? Actually, I'm scared of what the answer to that may be!

I played it on PC, and really enjoyed it. Decent story and gameplay. Not without it's flaws, but a very good, and very rewarding game.

If they're short range SAMs, stay high where they can't hit you (look out for spikes from enemy aircraft though)

Well it's not universal. I've only noticed very minor drifting when taxiing, and not swerving around like a drunk. The only time I wasn't going straight, I think the taxiway may not quite have been level.

The only one I can remember was pointed out to me before I ever spotted it, so I believe it's known, but the main one that irks me is the SAS issues the A-10 has in DCS World, namely that I have to co-ordinate my own turns. That's what the Mustang's for :P

personally, I'm only currently using world for the P-51. I prefer the Warthog in 1.1.1.1 at the moment, as the beta version has some more bugs.

I'm concerned as to how much of a difference the SFM will make. I'm not judging anything until I see something of it though. If these planes end up as good as they can be, then I'll be a very happy (and poor) Rusty. Harrier and Eurofighter news is great. They are possibly the two aircraft I want most to try.

What's a European keyboard? I know that French, German, and UK layouts are all different.

I relocated my user's folder to another drive, and I only have one saved games folder. That resides on my storage drive, not my OS drive.

I'd imagine much longer. I managed 3 whilst doing physical work (although I made sure to drink things with some calorific content). I had really bad toothache and couldn't chew and didn't have time to buy soup or painkillers.

I always start to oscillate like crazy when near the tanker. I am fine precontact. It's only once I'm in the contact position. I don't do curves. I just need to practice more than once every few weeks (and avoid scenarios where refuelling is necessary until then)

If you wanted to download it from ED, rather than Steam, you can do so without further purchase. Your steam key will still work. (unless we're talking BS1) I'm not against steam in any way. My steam account hit 100 games this week, just pointing out some available options.

In some ways, this could be more dynamic than any dynamic campaign to date. A commander on each side and some squads of AI and human players... *pop* Just blew my mind!
