  1. MP is tricky...it suffers from a multiple of issues, from heavy CPU to desync / poor sync and outright WTF is going on so helps if u describe your issue with more granularity. With my specs (see signature) and a Varjo Aero HMD I get sometimes <20fps for short periods but mostly 30+ fps on the ground and 45+ in flight on the TAW server. It stays fluid if >30fps. De-sync /poor sync does happen in high density environment though and so picture will be jumpy when moving the head around in some part. It mostly happens when taxying and so while annoying it is liveable.
  2. Same here... No visible effect
  3. Sure. Hope you get some time eventually to fix this for AV8B as it really breaks the tool for this aircraft now
  4. Ok checked with Razbam. This one is not creating an issue. Before, whatever elevation you entered it was still keeping ground level. Now the elevation you enter is actually used. Waypoint editor was always entering the elevation normally so no change. Now it will be registered by the aircraft system though. I also noted on the 51st vfw fork that the default airframe and also button press timings can be put into the 'preference' or setting menu... can be quite handy that.
  5. Will have to check this one but the fact there is now a default wpt1 and the fact that wpt editor uses 77 when entering waypoint means it will just add the waypoint to any pre-existing waypoints so the arbitrary waypoint 1 will stay there and waypoint editor will create its first waypoint as wpt 2. That is for sure
  6. Hey @Lasko, Razbam changed the AV8B in the latest update and now, if no waypoint is preloaded it creates a wpt1 automatically... problem is waypoint editor creates waypoints using wpt77 so that it picks the next available slot ... that is messing up everything now. Is it possible to modify it so that it actually use the wpt number entered in it rather than 77? This way wpt1 would just get overidden.
  7. Are u guys ticking V-sync in VB when using openXR? I have not but noticed too many de-sync type glitches. While flying MP in particular
  8. Thks. Just checking...Is this just for stable version or works also with open beta? (think I have another DCS bios installed ... but very old and not sure which one) ok just tried and answer is yes
  9. Can u post a link to it?
  10. To go from 1 tab to the next I have bound some key on the keyboard (under settings page of openvr). U can bind buttons on your hotas if u prefer. Within a tab you can navigate using the menu icon that appears top left of your kneeboard in vr.
  11. yep. got a one. it works fine
  12. Guys, when starting DCS using OpenXR the initial position is always totally wrong (i.e I sit 2m above the menu screen). So need to recenter immediately. Is there any way I can fix that?
  13. Ok got it. Yes if I add a PDF with more than 1 page as a new tab I get a menu icon. But there is no menu to go from one tab to the next. Another thing I noticed is that the kneeboard position is never the same when I get into my aircraft from one DCS session to the next. Same aircraft, same measures in openKneeboard settings/VR but different position in the cockpit. Weird.
  14. Hi Fred, sorry but I am using DCS with OpenXR and in VR I do not have any menu icon at the top left. The only way I have to switch from one tab to the other is to bind the command to something (keyboard/joystick etc). Am I suppose to have one?
  15. @Supmua @dburne Sorry guys, coming late to this thread and getting a bit lost given how long it has become . In order to try this out, is it a matter to just go in the nvidia profile explorer and select the one call VRdirectX? Will this apply these settings to any program I run? Or does it need to be 'linked' to a particular .exe (like DCS.exe) ? Thks
  16. I fly Vr and the EHSD is near unreadable with the map on as the default gain on it is too high. Rather than lowering it every time I jump into the aircraft, is there a file in which the default gain parameter can be changed once and for all?
  17. Question about the installation that confuses me: the OCXR_WMR_ACC ... the first post says to put the D3DCompiler_47.dll into a \D3DCompiler_47 directory. In the .zip though this dll is put into the main directory, not a \D3DCompiler_47 directory... Do we need to manually create this directory and place this dll in it or do we leave it as is in the .zip? Thks
  18. Nope. In the AV8B tgt points can be labelled differently so that they can be used for JDAM ammunitions
  19. Thks Lasko. Working gr8! no idea either if it is capable of anything else than FIX. Not sure if target points can be entered or not for eg. but at least it is working for waypoints now.
  20. Here u go. This is a navaid file / NS 430 Export with just waypoint data navaids.dat
  21. One suggestion... would be good to be able to import combatflite waypoint export (using the NS430 export function) directly into the waypoint editor
  22. Do you mean there is no need to do step 1) and 2) on your top/1st post?
  23. U mean fly using just the oculus controllers? Don't think possible. We pretty much all use HOTAS equipment for DCS (Warthog /Wingwing/Virpil etc) as modern military planes require a lot of buttons on the joystick. Don't think u can bind the axis to a vr controller. Happy to be proven wrong though
  24. I set a night mission and tune up the gamma until stars and town lights are realistic
  25. I only use vr so don’t have a straight comparison but I have few stars at night (often hard to know if it is another plane or some stars). And yes nvg brings more of them. However, you can easily use the GAMMA setting to make these brighter
