Yes AI pilot follows me to the runway then when I align myself he just completely forget I am there and just go for it, ramming my aircraft off.

The HPI works fine at night but is turned off in daytime. Should always be on.

Happened to me before because I had not set DCS properly in Steam (think added the stable instead of beta or something like that), anyway was wrong .exe

Been following the thread with interest as I was wondering what the Vive pro 2 could bring over the G2 to warrant switching. For me 2 points could see improvement 1- Sweet spot and 2- FOV. tech spec of VP2 did not suggest much improvement on FOV (120 vs 114?) and apparently sweet spot is no better. Seems it settles it.

I hope imacken does not read that ... he's written a lot about SS vs PD to remove confusion about what does what and explain the actual resolution achieved. Bottom line, leave PD alone at 1 and use the steamVR SS

Not an extensive test series but have had a couple of tries and it seems to have been fixed indeed.

I think if you are back to WMR home it means SteamVr crashed ... from there I do the same as you...restarting SteamVR does not help take back control

Hehe..yeah u'd think that but lately DCS has picked up a habit of crashing me out before i'm done

Never figured out what was going on. My way is power G2 -> WMR launches automatically -> Start DCS (either direct or via DCS updater GUI utility) -> SteamVR launches automatically. If I then quit DCS and do not kill SteamVR with it then relaunching DCS means no more mouse buttons. go figure.

Yep. Just try to get your hands on one For WIW, I have a 3080 and the memory usage is always maxed out (10GB) so feels like more VRAM would come handy

If SteamVr is already running when I start DCS then the mouse is ineffective for me. To fix I then minimise the steamVR window and click into the WMR window...then back to DCS window and Mouse is back! Note I do not have controllers for my G2

Have not touched it in a while so might be confused but would swear on per application setting there was the auto/forced option... can't see it anymore

Well my point is there is always problems because everything seems to interfere with everything. I recently discovered that Citrix workspace was preventing reshade activation...even when citrix is closed down to the last visible process . Every update of a driver or software seems to come with its own unintended collateral damage... too many interfering variables.

Yep. Only reason I own a windows PC today is DCS Nothing else on it. Got tired long ago of constant tweaking / updating /reinstalling / rebooting cycle

Using Steamvr beta 1.17.8 here (no idea about WMR beta nor where it would be enabled from) with 2.7 and no problem so far either

Not sure what the issue is for you but would suggest: 1- put your hardware details in you signature. gives other informatio about your system (issues are often hardware related) 2- Start from scratch. uninstall mods, do a full Repair of dcs, redo the procedure to enable the debug tool A small error at some point can often lead to hours of headscratching You could not be more cryptic if you tried. What is the issue you are having? when did it start? what did you do to try and fix it? 2.7 did not bring new alignment issues to me. Try and put your hardware specs in your signature as well.

definitely more stable than when I am in the pilot seat!
