YES! Ive seen that.. I watched my bombers come into land yesterday, And a fighter jumped in front as they approached. The bombers just ruddered right and said, 'Hmmm, This is a minor inconvenience, I should go around, Or land somewhere else.. Yup- This line of trees will do just fine!' Then gave a massive thumbs up and saluted out the window. The minute he realises he cant land in a tree, he climbs by 20 ft and said 'Hmmm, This is a minor inconvenience, Im on fire, I should get some altititude or bail.. Yup- This altitude gives me enought time for me and my gunner to safely escape' Then tries to bail.. From 40ft.

If you can record it, and prove he's flying at the wrong speed in a track, you can report it as a bug. Try doing it again, and showing us his stats in a replay using F2 view on him. Youll also get some help from others on here who have better experience with the AI, I only play online, and the Dora is the 'air-king' for speed.

Really appreciate the speed at which you guys implemented the Laser pointers. Im proper chuffed to be able to press the buttons again, without putting my fist through my monitor. However, they arent straight and dont align with my mouse cursor. It really uncomfortable. Were still missing the binds too. Ie- Trigger, to shoot, and Buttons to zoom? This means flying warbirds, or Heli's I have to fly one handed to shoot the trigger with spacebar.

You learn something new every day. Ive been calling that 'the super charger' from day 3.. Serves me right for doing no training missions. Thanks Man.

No one will know except yourself. It will depend on a number of things.. Your hardware, your headset.. Only you will know. Im having increased performance in places, then some of the worsed performance ive ever seen in other places. Im experiencing both great AI, and some of the most stupid AI ive ever seen.. The clouds and lighting have transformed this map into a true mirror of the British Isles. Above the clouds, youd find it difficult not to mistake the map for a WW2 one, Its that good visually- Its now near perfect and a far better Map than Normandy in my opinion. If it werent for the players on MP, id probably delete Normandy all together as thats now been forgotten, and is awfully showing its age. However- With the new update comes a retched amount of crashes, bugs, and an overall (all map) VR performance that is so frustrating at times that sometimes i just want to uninstall the game and leave it to try again in 6 months. The Channel, Is my favourite map, and while I LOVE it, i cant help but feel like there is still ALOT missing.. Its not got soul. But for WW2, I wouldnt (and dont) play anything else.

Im getting this in every single game now. Always multiplayer. In most maps, Today it was Persian Gulf. I know its coming too. I check F10- game takes a dump- Rolls 5-10FPS.. Then i play the waiting game. Could be my next F10, could be my 60th F10, When the DCS fairy comes, she boots me off the link, and right back to my 'Oculus Home', Then the game knows im in the Oculus, as on my monitor i can see my mirror move and look around the cockpit, but im still waiting in the headset. All i can do is quit to desktop. I have a track but its 105 MB.. This update is proving to be very difficult indeed.

Yeah, id like this too. And the ability to use the rudder with the Thumbstick, when in a helo.

Please can we have a Wishlist for the Mi8? Items i would like to wish for in the Mi8: 1) Allow the rudder to be controlled by the 'thumbstick on the VR touch controls' like the FA18 had. 2) Allow us to 'drop smoke' (with a trigger action for SP missions) outside of the window like the upcoming Kiowa 'to mark areas (including Multiplayer) for the other aircraft. 4) Allow a rope from the door winch so when we look out the window, we have a point of reference, to know where we are hovering in relation to SAR. Fix the 'remove pylon' bug.. Many thanks

Can we please have a 'Wishlist' Thread for Combined arms.. My current Wishlist items. 1) Start In Tank- Not F10 Menu (If theres a way to do this, PLEASE let me know) 2) Better Infantry- (This is for Heli's too) 3) ALL infantry IN the Infantry menu (Man-pads etc)

Yeah, they ditch where possible. Before 2.7 they'd ditch in open spaces ie a field.. Now theyve gotten a little dumber, and ditch into trees. Hopefully another patch will solve it..
