  1. They are being dropped CCIP, you just pickle on the center of the target line, rather than the nearest end of it.
  2. Depends on how far away the target area is, how long I'm expected to loiter, and what my initial fuel state was. If my arrival isn't time critical, I'll usually throttle down to the most efficient airspeed/fuel flow/AOA. Same for if I'm orbiting and spotting targets, unless there's a reason to keep the speed up.

  4. Occlude
  5. Typo in the mission file would be my guess.
  6. Your HOF seems way too high, but, regardless, the 87 and 103 are very ineffective in DCS (even against infantry and unarmored trucks) due to the damage modeling.
  7. In my experience, this happens if you've previously used the Prepare Mission function.
  8. He's referring to the power switch to turn it on, not the ability to toggle it being on and off during flight.
  9. Any updates on if fixes to the range and accuracy issues are being actively worked on, BN?
  10. Another alternative would be to use China Hat Aft in conjunction with a modifier. Personally, I just have the "Right" key on my keyboard set for it.
  11. Sounds like you have the AAP Steerpoint dial set to Mission.
  12. HMD as SOI, DMS Short Right. There's three profiles.
  13. This was my first thought, too.

  15. I use the slider on the Warthog throttle.
  16. It's absolutely related to that bug. The last track that I posted was performed well within the DLZ (ie: in the actual acceptable drop window) and, although the bombs weren't quite as precise as I would have expected, I was still 6 for 6 with GBU-54s.
  17. I ran into this issue, and it was determined that the problem was that the mission creator had, at one point, used the "Prepare Mission" function.
  18. This doesn't break IC?
  19. It's very immersion breaking to be able to see units from 40+ nm away through your TGP, only to later discover that there's several city blocks and/or a forest that should should have been obscuring it...

  20. It's TMS Left Long now. (DMS Left Long turns the HMD on and off.) When you're broadcasting, you'll see "SPI ON" in the upper right corner of your TAD.
  21. Nope. I'm using the same custom flare profile that I have for the past 18 or so months (4 flares, 0.25 seconds interval, 2 cycles), and it was 15 for 16 against a SA-13 and 12 for 12 against a SA-9 with a single use in my testing after the most recent patch was released. I also didn't do a proper test with them, but I've also had no trouble avoiding Igla, R-60, R-73 and R-27ET with it, either. Haven't had any of the bluefor IR SAMs or AAMs fired at me yet, but really the only thing that it wasn't effective against 90+ percent of the time was the AIM-9X.
  22. Test #5: Dropped 6x GBU-54 on 6x targets from 10,000ft MSL, between 4.0nm and 3.5nm horizontal distance. All bombs impact within 15m of their respective target's center (targets are about 7m in length for reference). Test #5 Track File
  23. This is correct, and engaging smaller targets with only the guns should probably be the expected behavior, I think.
  24. Some additional notes for you: Nothing will engage Walleye, presumably because DCS classifies it as a bomb, rather than a missile. SA-10 and SA-15 will engage SLAM. The SA-19 will also engage, but only with guns. Haven't tested with the SA-11. SA-15 will engage APKWS, presumably because DCS classifies it as a missile, rather than a rocket. The SA-19 will not engage APKWS. I have not tested APKWS against SA-10 or SA-11.
