  1. How does the First Stage Trigger work? From what little I could find, it's suppose to stabilize the pipper on the target? My CH Combatstick doesn't have a two stage trigger, so I mapped the first stage to the shifted trigger action. I don't think it's working because I don't see much difference between the stages. If I pitch up, up goes the pipper. Shouldn't it be locked at a point on the ground? I tried search, but couldn't find anything relevant.
  2. Yeah, really. If you want to be really authentic, use the mouse for all switches that are not on the stick and throttle.
  3. Sounds like posting a startup track would be the easiest way at this point. Were you fuel and boost switches on, what did your engine rpms read?
  4. Perhaps a USB console game type controller might fit the bill?
  5. Go into the main screen/ Options to set your keys. To me it sounds like your RCTRL key is not working.
  6. If you're pressing Rctrl + Home and a cockpit view comes up, then your keys are wrong. Check the keys in the sim configuration and make sure it's not double mapped. Probably unlikely but also check your Keyboard language.
  7. What is that?
  8. Don't forget about Fleet Defender and PAW 1942. Locking up 8 targets as RIO and pickling off the Phoenix and Aamrams in FD was a blast. I spent half of my time in PAW in the Avenger's Tailgunner position. As far as MP, if we could get the Pacific theater modeled with historical Naval AC and Carriers, Tailgunner would be my ideal position. Hopefully this isn't too far off!
  9. They're all close to major Airbases afaik. There are a couple of strips just north of Kutasai.
  10. It uses the same button for Laser, if you have that mapped.
  11. The dummy is more interested in filming a tree, but you can see some a/c and rudder movement. tDppwPbmbrY
  12. In an A-10, doesn't matter what altitude, if a fighter breaks through and is coming in my direction, only option is to RTB, unless it's a P-51 of course. :)
  13. If you stay above 12k and use the stand off weapons , obviously A-10C would give you a better chance of survival.
  14. You've convinced me. I think I'm going to take the plunge and buy it. Those engine sounds are fantastic!
  15. I believe I've used the ELEC/PNEU and the switch worked but I don't remember if it was functional. I think Pneumatic is used in case of power failure.
  16. In FC2 it came up as a Georgian A/C as well so you could do Co-op missions. Hopefully it's also the case in DCSW.
  17. Once all the modules are plugged into DCSW like A-10, will they use the DCSW objects for explosions?
  18. Wow, those explosions look much better than what we currently have in A-10. Hopefully when I plug the A-10 into DCSW after the next patch, we'll get all the upgrades.
  19. Nice landing tutorial on the P-51.
  20. Is P-51 vs Toad possible now in MP? Would like to see some vids. Who'd you think would win?
  21. Guess they don't want those unexpended mk-82's hanging off the a/c during the break. :) Are bombs usually jettisoned for any type approach? I think they probably should be before entering airspace around a friendly base. Also interesting that you drop the gears at the abeam of touchdown position. Very similar to a CV circuit.
  22. I would imagine that there would have to be an AI version as well. I assume P-51 has this already so you can set up wingie's for SP?
  23. Get out your map, ruler and bow compass. :)
  24. I'm planning on upgrading at some point, but currently, if MP servers are running DCSW, will A-10 v.1111 still be compatible or will it require the update?
  25. Excellent news! The Toad is my second favorite AC to fly. Now we'll have a dedicated SEAD A/C in multiplayer! I'm stoked.
