  1. Yeah, that's the issue, PAC-1 is also an auto-pilot mode and as long as it's depressed you're locked in at the approach angle. Unlike other AP modes, I don't think excessive stick movement will break out of the mode. I don't have a 2 stage trigger but I mapped an additional button on my stick to engage it. I have to keep it depressed to activate it. Sounds like it may be a toggle on your rig.
  2. Interesting, Looks like Kutaisi got hit in the same way but the runway is repaired. Looks like there's a Mig 23 and a couple of Toads on the tarmac. Also interesting is what Google maps shows as Kobuleti is actually the "X" airfield we use for target practice, what DCS A-10 calls Kobuleti is named Meria Airport in Google maps.

  4. Hmm, is MUSEUM & PRESERVATION OF HISTORICAL & BUILDINGS accurate? Not sure where Aircraft come into it unless they're talking Hangars and Aviation museums. ;)

  8. If you control the vehicles, why not? Having human controlled Shorad vehicles would improve the immersion considerably.

I'm referring more to how on board systems effect the FM, such as emergency overrides, like manual slat extensions or decoupling control surfaces due to damage, hydraulics degradation, that sort of thing. Also, if I remember the Su-25T (in FC2) doesn't have a fully clickable cockpit, even with AFM, so I'm hoping that minimum standards apply to DCS vetted 3p models.
  10. I would hope the vetting process will be strict, but with SFM restrictions, it sounds like any 3p aircraft will be like an addon to FC3, rather than a dedicated FM and avionics systems. Even with SFM, hopefully the cockpits will be accurate and fully clickable and functional less the classified stuff.

  12. Thanks, I think I had it backwards, forgot to set Markpoint as SPI. I'll give it a try. Btw, the trk I created is for practicing force correlate against 2 Tunguskas. It's a short trk starting in the air.
  13. I attached a trk to my initial post. Yeah, I'm using TMS Right (on my Ch stick) to create the markpoints. I increment markpoints by the rocker switch on the UFC while Mav is SOI. Mav seems to lock on to last SPI, rather than Mkpoint. The "Slave all" didn't seem to work.
  14. I'm having an issue with the mavs jumping to the next markpoint, they want to stay on the initial SPI even though Mav is SOI and I've incremented MP by the UFC rocker. Does it make a difference if the initial SPI is in point or track mode? . Also to create subsequent markpoints with the TGP, do you have to designate the next point as a new SPI first, the create the markpoint, or is it just aim the TGP and hit markpoint? I've been creating new SPI's then hit Mark, but don't know if that is correct. I've attached a trk, it's probably not that clear, but after I set the markpoints, the mav was slaved to the last SPI (mkpt B), even though I was set to mkpt A on the Hud). I know I'm doing something wrong. markpt.trk

  16. Are you sure you weren't following the AWACs? Sounds like it due to altitude and the escorts, but not sure if something was switched out in DCS_World.
  17. yeah, what wiggles, that's what I'm asking too. You'd expect a few dents and scratches, anyway.
  18. What's also frustrating is you have to zoom the TGP back out, or the zoomed view moves very slowly. On the other hand, I noticed if I lock up a moving vehicle in a column and the TGP is masked by the airframe, it will retain its lock when I roll back into the FOV. I would think it would break lock if it's masked.
  19. Now we're talking. I sure could use it for the CDU key pad, UFC, and punching those OSB's. Start up would be fantastic.
  20. There seems to be a limited library of AAS profiles. Can they be customized, for example, say a P-51?
  21. Is it possible to create a customized AtoA gun sight in the A-10, or will a P-51 AAS profile be included? :)

  23. Ok, tested and got it. The key is to hold pac1 button down while firing cannon, missed that step. I should try Pac1 during refuel to hold her nice and steady. I'm sure the Tanker guys would appreciated an armed cannon. ;)
  24. Sorry, it's still not very clear. I have a single stage trigger, so how do I map "P" (first stage) and "[space]" ( fire Gun) to a single stage trigger? In the Ch mapping utility, do I map (Hold P + Space)?
  25. Ok, so what I gather is that the first stage trigger is the same as switching the Gun Arm switch to the up position (PAC)? Just reread, it sounds like it is a different PAC Mode in addition to setting the gun arm to PAC?
