It depends on the quality of the developers too. If you have accurate data it's not that hard (compared to a moon landing). But if you lack accurate data, besides programming, you have to reverse engineer the systems.

If you have not encountered any issues with laser ranger resetting to 0.1/0.2 you have not played much Black Shark the last year or so. This is a game breaking bug in multiplayer, I don't fly SP, so I can't say if this bug exist in SP. And yes, it's fair to say the Ka-50 have been abandoned. Look at the patch notes 12 months back, and then compare with the bugs that are introduced, and left to rot patch after patch. If ED don't feel the need to update and patch the Ka-50, release the source code to a 3rd party dev so they can continue to work on the shark. Win-win.

It's a pity ED decided to abandon the Ka-50. The Shkval is useless now, and have been for ages. I can't recommend my friends to buy the Ka-50 because of this game breaking bug. One could expect the primary sensor of the helicopter would work, and not go crazy slaving around it self or the laser range finder to jump from 5km to 0.2km and when you fire the laser again, it reverts back to 0.2 again in a few seconds. I stopped counting all Vikhrs lost due to this bug, but it is hundreds and hundreds of missiles.

This have been an issue since A-10C beta. A few patches it works, and then it gets broken again.

We had this issue with the massive total war 3 mission. We had 3 clients in LotAtc and all 3 had problems. I tried red side, and then back to blue side and for me it worked after that. I don't know if the other two tested that trick.

And 10310 is forwarded properly?

LotAtc always need to know where to connect. Hopefully DArt have time to implement a simple address book or favorites. I've not tested if DNS or host names work. E.g. LOCALHOST or dcs.awesome.net

LotAtc 4 DCS - 0.9.1 If we're talking about the same thing, map update. Default is two seconds, and that's more then enough to act as ATC/controller

The easy workaround is to move cursor to the correct location and make a mark when we get the annotation feature.

Are you looking for an annotation feature Neck? Where you can draw lines, circles and draw by free hand? I've seen somewhere that annotations are coming. But I don't know if you can do shapes and lines. But it's a really useful feature.

If you want easy mode you hook up with 2 Su25T SEAD and 2 F-15 doing a sweep ahead of you.

I've only played an hour last night with no issues. I can check next time i get online. But i reckon those with lower RAM suffer the most if it's a mem leak.

The single module is not free, but it is INCLUDED in FC3.. :)

If this is the case, im sure devs are on it. Or at least a tester has made a bug report.

I've tested that release and it works well in 1.2.8 final. Now im really looking forward to 1.0.0 for more ATC features. :) And btw, Dart, i can translate it to Swedish if you'd like that. Send me a PM if you need help.

The Tor doesn't seem to work in multiplayer, only in SP.

I don't use overhead marks a lot, but are you saying they also mark the current aircraft elevation?

Not sure but I guess it's a bug, either in the sim or IRL. ;)

I know time differs between Ka-50 and A-10C by one minute. But i've not noticed difference while in game. But then again, when we do serious missions we start at the same time. HACK works like a charm.
