With average headphones you probably won't notice any difference. However, with a nice set of cans (I use Kingston HyperX Cloud) there's a huge improvement using the Sound Blaster Z over integrated motherboard sound. Especially if you combine with the Buttkicker. ;)

I just tried to download the latest update of SSA but the OneDrive folder in the link is empty. It only contains an empty subdirectory "Previous Version". Do I need to do something special to see the actual files?

Pride, that's an excellent summery and I couldn't agree more. I've had a long weekend of tweaking software for G2 and had to step away from my sanity. It's hard to accept the smaller sweet spot but I'm looking forward to jumping back in.

I followed the same path and find the G2 has a miserable sweet spot. Don, in your setup do you find G2 sweet spot as good as Rift S?

Any update on this? Just finished Raven One and looking for more Hornet action!

Heard from PC-Canada, they got a shipment in B.C., but still waiting for shipments in Ontario.

Sharpe, that's exactly the one I use. It certainly does the trick, and cheapest flight-sim solution ever. lol

After forming up on the tanker a message was given that the mission was saved, that I could exit and the next mission would begin with me behind the tanker. After taking on some fuel, I quit the mission proceeded to the next. However, the campaign went straight to mission 4 without continuing with mission 3. It had a very different briefing and I began parked on the carrier. Did I miss something?

I wonder if they can re-use any "piston engine" code from the P-47. If I'm not mistaken, they both used the Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp.

Don't really care about the style one way or the other, just hope they tweak enough so that the text is easier on the eyes. It's practically unreadable at the moment. :(

I suspect that by the time these features are usable and useful for our purposes, it will be time to buy another headset. Sticking to the standard G2 when it's available.
