You need to launch DCS in openxr mode.. Be sure you have setup the oculus software as default runtime for openxr, then launch dcs world with this setting in the shortcut: null --force_VR --force_OpenXR

I tried the Pico 4, and I have returned for now (I picked really just to try, then I will sell some of my stuff and retake again). I had just some hour to try it and then had to repack and bring back, but I was not satisfied. I used Virtual Desktop, tried both with the Wifi hotspot from my PC (pc is 1gbit wired and has wifi6, and my router is not wifi 6) and usb-c to ethernet adapter. With wifi the connection was aroung 600mbit, with cable I don't know as Virtual Desktop did not show those statistics but the connection was stable. However the image with SteamVR was very strange (actually I have a Rift S), it was like the image was more flat and less curved (for example the DCS main menu) has anyone experienced this?How to solve? I used virtual deskop in Ultra mode (I have an rtx 3090) and the steamvr res was 2700x2700 (around those), the image was very clear (never seen a VR like this) but the performance was very bad. 36fps with 72hz mode and 45 with 90hz mode, but it was like ASW (motion smoothing or what Pico is using) was not working as I had a very bad motion sensation, both when moving head and when flying. Is that possible with a 3090???Do i have a fake one? My performance with Rift S is not bad (I remember it was better before 2.8) but with Pico 4 it is completely unplayable for me (I cannot stand without using motion reprojection). Maybe I was doing something wrong, but in the future I want to try again. So TLDR 1) Strange "flat" effect in DCS...difficult to explain but where is to understand when is experienced (difference with other headset)..how to solve? 2) How to understand if motion reprojection (or like it is called in this one) is working? 3) How is possible that the performance is so slow with my machine? (5800x3d, 64gb, rtx 3090)?

Yeah I really hope they will at least implement the moving trim. None of the razbam modules has any FFB implementation nor the harrier and nor the mig-19.

In ogni caso, questa stupidaggine del cannone l'ho letta in vari post e articoli. Non poteva essere utilizzato per due motivi 1) il pallone volava ad oltre 60000 piedi 2) il pallone viaggiava a pochi nodi di velocità Non c'erano i margini per un ingaggio in sicurezza con il cannone Aggiungo che seppure può sembrare spropositato il costo del missile (e magari era un missile vecchio con carica scaduta) rispetto al risultato, quello che pochi hanno capito è che non è di certo stato abbattuto perché rappresentasse un pericolo, ma per recuperare i dati raccolti dal pallone (capire cosa volevano acquisire e perché i cinesi) e per recuperarne le apparecchiature (capire che tecnologia usano). Quindi in termini di raccolta informativa sulle capacità ed intenzioni (i due elementi che costituiscono una minaccia) di un avversario geopolitico...in poche parole gli americani hanno ritenuto che l'intelligence raccolta superasse i costi. Senza contare che probabilmente c'è anche qualche elemento di volontà di dimostrare la propria forza..

According to the campaign guide, I should have scored 90 out 100, but I scored 70. The only thing I didn't do was to destroy the tel as i was out of ammo, and the wingman didn't attack also if I asked to. Then the other flight arrived which relieved ours. I destroyed the sa-2 with the harm and the sa-3 with the maverick. And I did land back on the carrier, and exited only after the mission end pop-up. Also I correctly indicated that there were no TELs at the first location

in this video he shows that the headest screen can be mirrored to an external screen. What would be interesting to us, flight simmers, would be the opposite...but also if the headset could be seen as a display from the PC, still some software would be needed to stream DCS content to the headset....I don't think steamvr would identify it as a proper headset

Quella del c130 è il volantino e la manetta del turtle beach per Xbox (che funziona anche su PC). Lo Stick del mirage potrebbe essere qualcosa di custom che si sono fatti fare o di disponibile per i simulatori professionali. C'è hardware in giro per ogni aereo praticamente (ad esempio cerca Flight SIM hotas Eurofighter), ma i costi sono proibitivi per noi privati e sono destinati ad un mercato commerciale.

I flew it some days ago...there were no crashes. However I did miss some radio communications...didn't seem to have done anything wrong but some triggers...didn't trigger. Anyway I was able to score 100 on the mission

In my case he did engage, just it took some time for him. Probably some trigger did not get fired...very strange...but can happen, I love this campaign also because of all the voice overs and scritping (in the sense of the story)...so losing something doesn't make me happy...but I am not sad enough to re-play a 100 scored mission just for this

Thanks for your suggestion, I found a walkthrough of the mission on youtube. And basically I did nothing wrong but since the Cajun's call to stay with Flip I did not receive any other call. I did not receive these ones and the later ones I also did not receive this "visit" I also did not receive the request about texaco...so basically something was messed up

On amd cards reprojection doesn't work properly...i don't know about the new ones and probably drivers will also improve

Asus ROG b550-e bios version 1806. I already used pbo2 tuner with -30 so it was no surprise to me. Maybe I was lucky with the silicon I was not seeing it either, but it was in Asus specific options
