is that fixed (the moving stick with trim)? I am reviewing all modules with FFB issues tand still the stick doesn't move with trim for me.

Do you have any mod installed? If yes try without mod if this issue remains. If so, you should upload a track

Can the F1 carry and use A/A and A/G weapons unlike the M2000?
VirusAM replied to julianqwerty's topic in DCS: Mirage F1
Yes. The F1 can load both AA and AG loadouts -
Probably it is just because with turbo mode motion smoothing doesn't work

Troppo fastidio averlo in.

I have issues with the AP and i have no curves (Rhino FFB base)

AMD 5800X3D, the new King for flight simulators?
VirusAM replied to maxsin72's topic in Virtual Reality
The advantage about the x3d is in its cache....the results differs based on the resolution just because higher res moves the bottleneck towards the GPU...but the advantage of the cache remains. I think that in VR and MP the x3d has a big advantage. Probably I will switch to it later this year -
Ryzen 9 5900x vs Ryzen 7 5800x3d

Thanks, for the informations... Very useful, and I think it is the only upgrade path, as it doesn't involve changing anything else. -
Ryzen 9 5900x vs Ryzen 7 5800x3d
VirusAM replied to shastasm's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I have the same CPU (5900x), actually I am not using VR, but I am considering going back to it (will try to get an used reverb g2). Right now i have a 2080ti, but this evening I will switch it to an Evga 3080ti FTW3 (used from amazon warehouse, so I can send it back). Undecided if the swap is needed (5900x -> 5800x3d and 2080ti --> 3080ti), or if I should save money and wait for next year. On the Flight Sim official forums I have seen reports from users which used it at resolutions higher then 1080p and still having benefits (the one I recall switched from a 5800x and not a 5900x anyway). -
Non credo sia troppo lontano

And that is not true fsr (and is 1.0 also). A proper 2.0 implementation from ED would be the night and day

Psvr is compatible with PC with some hacks and trinusVR software (never tried myself). Probably with the psvr2 being an inside-out device with no external hardware dependencies and a single usb-c cable, those hacks will be much simpler (maybe just the software needed).

Is it going to be worth going 3090 to 4090?
VirusAM replied to Digitalvole's topic in Virtual Reality
Dcs VR is heavily CPU dependant, especially in complicated environments like multiplayer, scripting and AI heavy missions. While better GPU will let you push more pixels at the same or better frame times...if your CPU cannot keep up, you will be stuck at less then 90 (or whatever is needed) fps. The 5800x3d at the moment is a CPU that is able to help in the situations I described with its huge cache. -
For me the AP is not working. I am also a VP force owner. I am able to engage it, but then it is not really engaged as the aircraft will immediately find it self in a dive. How do you manage to correctly engage it? I enable altitude hold, enable autopilot (or viceversa), trim the plane for level flight and then press the nws button.

DirectX ffb Buy the maker is planning also to augment the effects via lua exports

There are also issues with the Autopilot. About the stick position, it is shifted forward always (air or cold/hot start on the ground). At least on my side, I am not able to use it (VPForce's Rhino FFB base)

I own almost every module. I am flying the tomcat and the Hornet the most. I am not using too much the Viper, but I like it and know it quite well. I am not an helicopter driver (i lack the basics) but I am trying to learn the apache (only how to fly it for now...not combat).

Is uboats profile pic an easter egg for next Deka module?
VirusAM replied to Rinz1er's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
I suggest you to read better their FAQ, and if you have time to listen to two episodes of the Air Combat Sim podcast which involved Truegrit and Heatlblur. In brief, they are starting at early access with the capabilities of the first versions which saw service (mainly AA), and then they will model also later systems for AG. Then, they stated that the firs release will be based on a german version, but it will be more of a frankstein version like any on the ones you could find on the flight line today. Some time ago, they also released a sceenshot with a german painted and a Uk painted Ef-2000, one without the pirate, and the other with it mounted. Anyway I don't want to hijack this thread -

We are getting the Pirate with the Typhoon. Just not at release probably
