  1. Turning off the tacan before activating CPL, does seem to work (goes to CPL P/R, instead of CPL HDG), although, when i done it, it lined me up off to the right, and i had to manually land it anyway, i was also below 33k pound so duno

I've not flown at night with it, but i did see Pricklyhedgehogs video and it looks much MUCH better at night, The mission i have done (Sedlo's Bold Cheetah campaign), The day lighting did seem very Glary, like the sunlight was too overpowering. HUD was really hard to read too. I even had to disable reshade, as at somepoints at certain angles the plane almost vanished from sunglare. Yet terrain at points does look much better too... bit of a mixed bag for me atm
  3. yeh, so basically, a completely useless feature to have !! guess standard case 3's arent that bad in the hornet, bolters sure are a Nightmare though! cheers guys
  4. Thats really not fair on the Builders, at the end of the day, your (as in all campaign builders) campaigns are mostly wot draw people in, you would think ED would have some continuity which such things, as these changes basically comes off your profits!!

So just doing M12 of Dominant fury, and i fire first slam in PP, then i circle and fire the next in TOO, but once the first hits its target, i cant change weapons in the DL13 screen (wpn button does nothing), so cant guide the second missile. Is this correct IRL, or should i be able to change channels on the fly?
  6. I get the same issue whenever i use it in any mission that has AI or players (so basically everysingle one of them except test missions), when i engage CPL i get CPL HDG on the hud, not CPL P/R, been like this since launch. Anyone know how to stop CPL HDG?
  7. Any luck yet? I did manage to get a 96 overall for OCN, and would love to crack on, in this campaign, sometime soon (if your F16 Campaign doesnt consume me first !! *wink wink* *nudge nudge*) ikr, it makes for WAY more replayability imo too, ultimately much more fun
  8. Just working through again, tryna get 100, but i also noticed this on my other 2 playthroughs, in mission 10 while sitting in Jet, you get cleared to CAT 2 but its way too early. So when cleared to CAT 2 theres 2 cutlass already in front of you, trying to get CAT 1&2, so i wait several minutes for them to get hooked up (f14s are still launching), i then goto cat 2, and then the werewolf and sluggo, who were parked to my right start taxing after me, but they drive straight into me, writing off my jet, so basically the pop up for taxi should happen after the werewolf and raven launch. May be a DCS bug (know they were playing with collision avoidance, and failing obviously haha), but i think if the clearance happens after werewolves, that should fix it

Comms with wingman still works (just tested), try Mic switch AFT, this is the only campaign ive used aft for wingmen, but as BD said, he done some weird stuff with the radios in this one .... as for the mountains... they'll still hit those haha (i usually tell them to anchor by the target, less likely to follow u in and crash)
  10. Yar, in the original track im in pre mode, the post that was linked above said to put it in vis or bore to basically boresight it to the TGP, due to a bug. i do normally do it in PRE. Cheers man, i do normally do it in PRE, but the link you sent said if you use the MAV to align in VIS or BORE, will auto link it to TGP, first one was in PRE
  11. Cheers for the reply, i just tried again in VIS mode, not touching the TGP as mentioned in that post, and it still does the same (see 2nd track). Not sure who changed this post to correct but they definitely didnt watch the original track file, besides i dont really want to align them based on a bug (or circling the AF as i highly doubt thats how its done irl during a redflag). The mission im struggling with is a low level pop up against a SA10, at night with NVG so dont have time to do them in the air, ground alignment shouldnt be an issue, hasnt been in the past. The fact it jumps back, shows that its not saving the boresight, how can that possibly be "correct-as-is"?! Thanks again man, but they clearly not interested F16Bore2.trk
  12. Im having trouble Boresighting the mavs in the F16 at the moment. Normally i lock onto the Taxilights with the TGP, then change SOI to the Mav, slew to the same light, TMS up. and press BSGT on the top left of Mav screen, then click TMS aft and theyre aligned, But now when i press TMS aft it jumps back to the original position, instead of aligning with the TGP. I also noticed the HUD symbology doesnt align properly to the thing im looking at in the TGP either, but this may be normal, not sure. ive included the track, this is how ive always Aligned them, but just wont stay aligned atm, have i missed something?   13. oh, cool, thats good to know bout the load outs! ok no worries, might of been a one off?! i have noticed a lot of triggers not firing as they should lately, especially working through dominant fury, but then next try they work again, will try again later, sorry for the false alarm

Ive played this mission several times before, but just now, on my last attempt, i was hypersonic until over the air base then slowed down an turned at least 10 miles past the base and the Hawk SAM never fired, and obviously i was then over run by 4 migs with only my 2 AIM9. On previous attempts the RWR is lit up like a xmas tree an usually splashes the migs (cept maybe one or so) On a side note, i think a dirty setup of say 1 wing tank, 1GBU and FOX3's on the outer pylons would fit the mission better, but your call my man
  15. Yeh, my bad, while there is a big pause of 10-15seconds after he says he will contact prowler, he eventually responds! i think that pause along with ATC issues, i assumed it was bugged too. cheers

  17. For anyone wondering i just tried Mission 6 with the latest update, and still no comms after WP2, so we'll have to wait for the workaround in this months update
  18. Just tried with todays update (was a bunch of F14 stuff init) but still no joy, i guess the workaround will come in Sept update
  19. Apparently the F14 "missed the boat" with August update, so theres going to be a large update september
  20. Unfortunately its not just ATC, in M02 when following the convoy you cant communicate with them either, which is a large chunk of mission, so is game-breaking unfortunately, but not end of the world, ive already finished this campaign once, happy to wait, cheers
  21. This is so weird, went to play through from M2 and got same thing (also had it M1), but if i take off, i goto contact the convoy that doesnt happen either (just says press space bar, he says hes going to contact them but never does), i then made a clean mission and radio works ok.
  22. Just read the changelog, no mention of the F-14 at all, has anyone tried the broken missions (6&12 mostly)? cant believe several updates in and ED/HB still havent addressed this yet!?!!
  23. Im not sure what intercom is, but im having the same issue trying to communicate with ATC (and campaign triggers). The correct freq is tuned because when i cant get them, i taxi anyway, ATC will say "taxi to RW___". but i can never get through, i then had correct freq for a convoy i had to contact, and pressed space, nothing. Current build is the buggiest ive ever seen DCS tbh
  24. Try boxing WP1, then set a course bar based on the knight call-outs (wp1 is rock), also pay attention to the "Track East" part, as the other plane at 35k is going diff direction if you wana catch him in time you'll probs have to hit burners too
  25. when you pull/move the channels on radio theres 5 things in screens/boxs to the right on the UFC, i think the top one is GRVC, press the button next to it so it has two dots next to it, thats how you monitor guard in the background
