Have you done proper alignment via CDU before taking off, are they bombs in DCMS labelled as ready or ALN UNS (i think this i correct term). I had the same issue because i completed my take off before the alignment was finished. You can see the alignment is complete when the CDU writes T 4.0.0.8 on one line at the bottom. I am sure some of the other more brilliant minds in here can explain it much better

Maybe because the Kiowa is already in the making by Komodo, could be..

Displate.com does a lot of them on metalposters

Hmm how to fix this in the Home Cockpit, the Thrustmasters MFDs have way to little buttons to could accommodate this. The Apache MFD has 31 buttons and 3 knobs, see the picture. I am considering changing the Thrustmaster MFD with two Elgato Steamdeck XL, they got 32 buttons. Any of you guyz have come up with a solution to this.

February got 28 days, so still a lot of days, there can be the one and since no news in Fridays newsletter, I guess the pre-order will come on a later date this month

Thanks, very cool solution. Thanks a lot.

Yeah but the Chinook way looks much cooler
-
If think i would be a super cool feature, read it was trained and used by the US Army. That a Chinook lands and the Apache lands behind and gets a quick refueling done, hope this will a possibility

Nice

Just hope they soon will be working in DCS, i can't remember who did a YouTube test video, maybe Ralfidude, there shown that the jammer has no effect in game.

Hey, Anyone know what is the loiter time or how long can you fly around before needing to refuel, if you start up fully loaded (without external tank)..? And how long time does a refueling take? Thanks.

https://komodosimulations.co.uk/ are already accepting pre-orders for Kiowa Cyclic and Collective, so i looks like the Kiowa will be the first with available controls on the market, also makes sense since it properly will be released before the Apache

Be cool to go hunting in between the islands for small Gun Boats in my Apache

Maybe also check if you in audio settings have enabled hear in helmet, then it sounds different than if not enabled. But for me sounds perfect!

Thanks for really well written explanation there helps me better understand the subjects when reading the manual
-
Guessing we need to use a modifier to get all Collective mapped to our throttle..

I haven't felt any buyers remorse with DCS so far, and i have bought really a lot of modules... Yes they can't be buggy and flawed at start, but the community has no patience so its their way to ease the community trigger finger, and concerning Pre-order I always does it, to help the developers earn the cash they deserve and and need to continue giving me these wonderful products, and normally there is always a discount with the pre-order, and I know I will order the product some day anyway.

Agreed, i have too been reading the US Army manual, and alone the startup is super simple compared to others.. While you have to learn and get very comfortable using the MFD's and HOTAS since they are doing all the work... but it will be a challenge like with any other aircraft, but its part of the fun learning and getting smarter

Yeah so nice, i read it also the other day in the public available manual that ED are using for making the Apache (assuming the same one). But a really cool feature Too bad we won't see the APKWs and the Hellfire R9X.. but no problem, we are getting the Apache thats making me smile anyway all day
-
Yeah, properly gonna need to use a modifier to help have enough possibilities

I read the following concerning the D-Model, if this is implemented i who really help when flying solo: "An enhanced autopilot with attitude, altitude and position hold in hover takes the effort out of NOE "masked" hover behind covering terrain."

Just perfect, thanks a lot
