That's strange you did not see change for water, but it should work only when menu is off, due to the shader I put attached. Anyway, I did the menu option and make it work for all MSAA. I'll have a look for sky using your track. It seems to be linked to haze, I just quickly checked for clear blue sky.

Same for me in Mi24.

I did something that seems to improve. Can you have a look ? Just unzip the "deband.zip" content into shaderfixes directory. It will work only with MSAA0x. I still need to setup a menu option and make it work for MSAA2x and MSAA4x. I did not see banding in sky during my flights and in your track...Can you post a track showing it also ? deband.zip

You can try my mod : https://forum.dcs.world/topic/207154-3dmigoto-vr-mod-for-dcs-label-masking-color-enhancement-sharpen-fxaa-copypaste-of-radio-msg ans setup the amount of haze while in cockpit by using a menu.

Hello, I updated the Mi24P texture file referenced in first post : I forgot to put the english cockpit (that was in liveries) !

I'm not able to replay the track...DCS hangs in loading with only few % of CPU usage.
-
Do you have a track for it ?
-
This time I could read the track. With your DCS settings I have 30 fps (with reprojection disabled !) as soon as in cockpit, then 60 fps when in map, then 30 fps when in cockpit again. If I set "turbo mode" in OpenXR toolkit then I went to 60 fps in cockpit. With my settings I have 60 fps from the beginning to the end...I had a quick look and did not see any strange things, so it seems the overhead introduced by the mod is not pleasing OpenXR... So either you lower your options, or you use turbo mode, or you do not use the mod because there is nothing I can do !

Cannopy reflections on instrument panel, WHY?
lefuneste01 replied to GumidekCZ's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
There are some mods to help, like mine : https://forum.dcs.world/topic/207154-3dmigoto-vr-mod-for-dcs-label-masking-color-enhancement-sharpen-fxaa-copypaste-of-radio-msg -
Hmmm, maybe it's because there is a change between MT and ST..I discovered MT did the color change but do not display them in VR, so they were done two times, that was annoying for sharpen. So I disabled the first rendering (the one displayed in mirror screen) and keep the one displayed only in the helmet (because less shader to handle). But maybe it is finally working only for MT, I do not remind if I tested it in ST...I'll check. Things are bering tricky between stable, OB ST, OB MT... Just press the button to save track at the end of the mission, before going back to main menu.

I can not reproduce. I used instant action / su25T/ free flight, 60 fps before, during and after going into map... The messages "failed result =" are occuring whatever you use F10 map and may be different. They are existing even with the "bare" 3dmigoto library and, from what I understood, are created when you exit the game... So please create a track that will reproduce the issue everytime played and post it with your settings (DCS and 3dmigoto).

But at the end, there are these end user reports you should also take into account, even if finally the statement may be wrong : "it's because or this or of that" the result are there: the AH64 is behaving in a strange way for lot of players. As other people reporting here, I stopped to use her some version ago because I feel in virtual danger by flying her, do to the "uncommanded roll" behaviour. As I'm playing only solo campaign and do not have so much time, I was too frustrating to fall to the ground in a middle of a mission because of these rolls that seems so strange and unpredicable. So I moved to the Hind...That's not I'm not crashing less but at least I'm understanding the error I made . So either it's normal to have this kind of things and then explanation should be given : "you should not fly her in this way, otherwise she will crash, that's proven and real pilot are trained to avoid it" or please try to understand and fix or explain the issue, whatever it will be. Saying it's a user subjective impression is a bit short, even if at the end you need factual elements (tracks, way to reproduce) to be factual. It's a complex balance beween taking all the misery of the world and negate end users feeling... At the end, the horse brought to water and which won't drink will be your customer...Once you purchased a plane or helo that's seems finally bugged (from your non expert customer point of view), you may not purchase another one...
