  1. I am getting this 3d box effect in the ST version. It doe not appear in the menu or even slot selection screen. It only appears once I have entered the cockpit and is more apparent in the external views. I have found this is certainly a DCS issue as this is not an issue when I launch DCS in MT with all the same settings.

  4. So I got the Quest Pro at the same time MT came out. Took lots of tinkering but I now have absolutely stunning visuals with great performance. Crystal clear edge to edge with the Pro. Now the caveat is that I am running a power machine (RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 RAM, i7 1300KF) so this obviously won't work for everyone, but I thought I'd post for other's reference.
  5. For aircraft that can’t set weapon laser codes, instead of a janky knee board window, just have it in the rearm refuel window for the ground crew
  6. @currenthilllittle bug regarding transparency thru the windows as you can see in the screenshot. Also is there any way to get the AI to use the smoke grenades? Thank you!
  7. So I’ve tried out DLSS in VR in MSFS and while the performance is great, the displays become almost unreadable. Not sure if this will be an issue with DCS though
  8. I know the purists will be up in arms but it’s tedious and would love to be able just to check a box to ensure mavericks are boresighted automatically
  9. If we are creating realistic scenarios we really need to be able to set multiple coalitions. For example on the Syria map, if we are doing moderns missions we would need a minimum of 3 1.) Syrian/Russian -Red 2.) ISIL/ISIS(insurgent) - Orange 3.) western Allies (USA, Turkey, Cyprus, etc) -Blue to take it step further having ROE based on coalition would be even better for example, blue and red would be weapons free on orange but red/blue would be return fire for each other

  16. I have seen that new web based ME that is being developed, very exciting. I would just say if ED is going to leave improving the Mission editor to the community and not do any of the work internally, please ensure the community has access to every possible aspect of the core game in order to create a workable alternative. “Understand right now though that the prime focus is on performance of the core, ME advancements and features dont mean much if it doesnt run worth a darn. ” agreed but I would add that performance enhancements don’t mean much if the actually gameplay isn’t compelling, and compelling gameplay is created by mission creators who are only as good as the tools they are given.
  17. So there is a separate forum for ME bugs and I’m not questioning that things get fixed from that. I’m speaking for to this specific forum of ME wishlist that in over a year of following this I’ve never seen any response from ED. If I go into the Apache wish list section almost every post has a “not planned”, “investigating”, or “WIP” tag on it. Meanwhile this thread seems completely ignored (until now, and thank you btw) now when you say “somethings would require a total re-write of the ME” are you implying that those features will never be implemented because ED won’t rewrite the ME or that (sort of like Multi-threading) it’s a work in progress?

  22. The water in several of the port zones is under 20ft deep and many ships can’t move through it. Why not make all water at least 150ft deep everywhere so this doesn’t happen?
  23. A while back a bunch of callsigns got added to the ME. However when they are used there is just a gap in the radio comms. It’s been so long that I guess someone forgot about them so I thought I’d put it in here
  24. PLEASE! when clicking on an airbase please add a drop down for active runway. Using the wind doesn’t always work and it’s really limiting if you are trying to configure multiple airbases
