  1. Yes. That is a nice touch. In the Gazelle also.
  2. Any mods in that mission? They are often the culprit of described CTD.
  3. Not terrible, not great. $70 gets rude.
  4. I was also surprised over the mediocre graphics on the metal switches. Also on the weird contrasts. Very 2013 Not even close to the level we've gotten used to in other modules. And also the .50 sampled loop sound. Polychop does not have the best sound guys. But today I celebrate. Later I'll complain. ..or not.
  5. Good point: George should be able to move foreward at 10 and 20 knots. As of now, his min. speed is 40. - To fast in many situations.
  6. This is the one. Nevermind the phantom! ..Well maybe not entirely.
  7. Not sure if I meet the minimum patience requirements for this game. Streetching..
  8. Not irrelevant: taiga noun [ S or U ] GEOGRAPHY, ENVIRONMENT specialized UK /ˈtaɪ.ɡə/ US /ˈtaɪ.ɡə/ (also boreal forest) the very large area of wet land in the far northern parts of the world that is covered with conifer trees: "a village in the heart of the Siberian taiga"
  9. Correct. TNS right short does nothing after I lock up the first/closest contact. ..so I TMS down and "stir" and sometimes it works. But not just now (again) -Back to RWS and lock up that mig with TMS up..
  10. I'm sure to be making all of them. I follow instructions from Chuck's guide and several videos on using TWS. But it rarely works; I only get to lock the first contact/target, and can not switch. So I stir the TMS until sometimes I succeed. What are the usual traps?
  11. "Hurtigruten" These passenger ships constantly traverse the Norwegian coast, represented in the gorgous new Kola map. -Needing some life..
  12. Another thing is that the TPOD seems to be living a life of it's own. When trying to designate moving target (CDES and PTRK) it jumps around to random points around the target area. And it is nothing there.
  13. The patience requirements for this game varies from sky high to limitless.
  14. DCS OpenBeta is no more. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/2024-01-26/
  15. Good thing about a jet engine; It eventually stops whining.
  16. Sad news, but I'm cheering for Heatblur's fantastic attitude and work ethics. Godspeed guys! (One also says "Guy" about girls nowadays, right?. Well I do anyway; Girls included.)
  17. It is the "Gun 15cm C/21 Naval in bunker" No matter how I rotate it on the map, it still points in the same (wrong) direction in-game. (Falklands map)
  18. Cool! On mission00, though.. You'll have to use machine gun. (Tug boat mission) -So I tried, and I discovered I'm getting better. And then I tried the machine gun (In stead of HOT3) on mission 01, and it worked great. Som holes in canopy, but landed safely after: Mission success! Very nice campaign. @Chef98 should make more Gazelle stuff. Good music choices, but in spite of that, I took out some of the music. -I like the rotorsound better.
  19. I used the mission editor, and changed all to the M. I fly the M only. Great campaign, by the way.
  20. Well, this was mission 6 i think, from the Combat Order - Falkland 1982 V1.1 campaign. It took hours before I had to give up.
