  1. Thanks BigNewy! Its been fixed.
  2. Agree 100% Could we possibly get a new banner? How about this one? LOL!
  3. Not all aircraft have an autostart feature and you may want to optimize your own. Yes.
  4. No. Just setup a VA command to use a series of keybinds or other already existing commands. You have to do a few things first, like setting up keybinds that may not have been there to start with. What I do after that is go through the (successful) start up sequence and document each step (i.e. wait times and flipping switches), then go into VA and create a new entry for "Auto Start" or "Engine(s) Start", or something like that using what I just documented and then test it out. Be careful not to use too many combos with ALT and CTRL. For instance, if you have a combo that requires a toggle like Nosewheel Steering and you have to hold that combo down until you release, if you use other keys while toggling with ALT/CTRL you will introduce other functions that will most likely cause problems. This method works best with Jets and Rotorwing aircraft. Prop aircraft take a little more finesse to start up.
  5. I set up a Voice Attack "Auto Start" command to speed things up. This works most of the time and I can do other tasks while that is running.
  6. Understood. So, the way I was looking at it was ED would still offer the current free Caucasus map. But then an upgraded version for those willing to pay for it. I mean, look at Afghanistan and how they are breaking that up for deployment (and Syria/Sinai). Yes you are right, it obviously not "free money". Everything costs something. I just thought it would be a great idea since everyone who flies in DCS knows the Caucasus like the back of our hands. LOL!
  7. Everything. Like Syria, Normandy, South Atlantic, etc... Pretty sure Kola is still in the oven. LOL! Did I stir things up? Look at the numbers ED. This could be a profitable endeavor.
  8. If ED chose to update the Caucasus Terrain by using a third party like Orbx or Ugra, how much would you pay for it?
  9. Absolutely and entirely correct! Thanks Mizzy.
  10. Oh, I see. Sorry. Yes, to hover you most likely need moderate and constant left pedal. When trimmed well you do not need significant rudder authority while in forward flight. In general, I suck at hovering in the OH-6a. I still need lots of practice. Hovering is very demanding of your skills with this helicopter.
  11. That's how I took it. I haven't experienced a need for constant rudder/pedal input. I'll check my settings and share them when I get off work.
  12. I haven't experienced a need for constant rudder input.
  13. Could you possibly give us the locations [coordinates] of the images above?
  14. Radio Problems... I was having trouble on the "In Country" multiplayer server last night while communicating with SRS in the Loach. I could communicate just fine outside the aircraft, but when I jumped in to fly I lost all comms even with all radios on and apparently functioning. Have you heard anything regarding this? Or, do you think it may be server specific?
  15. You may want to try this: https://www.grc.com/incontrol.htm
  16. Just love this mod!
  17. The F-15EX mod exists. Do you need a link?
  18. So... That means what? Can someone from ED request the terrain maker to provide said maps?
  19. what parameters did you change?
  20. I'm pretty sure the contacts need to be within visual range of the wingmen. Usually, if you get a a callout from a wingman (i.e. "mud spike 12 o'clock") before your request, then they will execute your command. Just because you see a target does not mean your AI wingman will.
  21. can it still be used as AI?
  22. Do we have one specifically for the F-86 [FC 2024]?
  23. That was it. All is well now. thanks.
