Yeah they should. I mean its only 3% of the forum market. And DX11 cards are pretty inexspensive now.

I wonder if this is to determine how much of the userbase could be left out if they went to DX11 only.

I have a Evga GTX780SC 3GB May get the 880 if it has a lot more ram and is a reasonable price due to my resolution.

Personally I don't mind if we see more trainers or even commercial aircraft. The level of fidelity possible and performance vs other platforms is what brought me to DCS. I would love to see more variety in DCS. Also with all the trainers coming, a pilot training campaign could be possible and that makes me happy in certain places ;)

Edit: Actually on second read, he definitely does not know what DCS is based on below quote. I recommend the monitor I have(see sig). Same size as the dell and its 1440p. I would think its cheaper than the dell since I picked it up for $650(USD) a year ago. Probably cheaper now. Can't speak to how it would run since our CPU and GPU configurations are completely different. But on my set up I run high and go from 50-60 fps depending on what is going on.

I meant to vote that there would are too many. But I guess what is planned currently is fine. But I would support DCS either way as long as the Hornet comes out. And it would be amusing to fly the Hornet in a gang of WW2 planes.

I recommend using steam. I buy my modules on the ED website (so ED makes more) and then transfer the key to steam and download there. Last night when I downloaded 1.2.8 it went at 6MB/s which is about my max download rate. (I have comcast blast which is 50mb/s down 11 mb/s up)

Sorry to resurrect, but I was using this in 1.2.7 and 1.2.8 broke it. Is there any way to still do this on 1.2.8? I don't like the Target Software and the idea that I have to tell it to enable the script every time I want to fly, just want it native. I use the EAC for landing gear and the Radar Altimeter for master arm. Can't figure out how to remap with the new control lua. Thanks for any help!

Living by (at the time) NAS Miramar and my Dads friend used to be a E-2C pilot. He showed me some of his flight sims back then and I was hooked. So it was something I wanted to do IRL but didn't end up going that way. So now I can be a fighter pilot in my spare time. Although I spend more time lurking here than I do in DCS :)
