  1. Hi.
  2. Set the hardware IPD according to your interpupillary distance. Adjust the DCS Software IPD (World Scale) in a way that feels right for you. The stick is always a good reference here. The old modules were created before VR glasses became widespread. So the values don't match exactly. The F-5, for example, is supposed to be modified accordingly at some point.
  3. For my part, I am also very grateful for the work done and achievements in DCS. Don't get me wrong, I hate waiting and postponements. But it is how it is. ED would certainly like to have it different often. I read here and there how bad the community is here. If I compare the quality of the Posts here in the forum with many other forums, then I have to say that we have a high level here, which I appreciate very much. Even when people disagree. As far as I'm concerned, I'm also very satisfied if multicore and VR are the main topics this year. Of course I remain impatient and always want more. After all, DCS is a matter of the heart.
  8. Dear RAZBAM team. It is amazing how you have evolved. You are now PREMIUM. I'm really looking forward to more products from you. Thought about to skip the F15 (another jet) but I saw that you offered a VR body right from the start. Now you've got me hooked. Your ongoing maintenance of existing modules is great. I wish you every success in the future, you have already set the right course for this.
Was ist damit? Hat der Azubi den geschrottet?
  13. This is great news today. Multicore on approach. Pathfinding for the infantry. This is music to my ears. Nice that you are doing so much there.
  14. Is a very difficult subject. ED would also like to earn money with her work. Good work must be rewarded. For example, I would like additional material for the Mi-8. I would love to have paramedics, stretchers and a working winch, and more. But helicopters are not as profitable as jets. And the Mi-8 is not a tank killer, so even fewer people who are interested. So why spend time and manpower to program all of this. You can make more money with the F-18. The only thing I can think of would be a crowfunding for such an additional package. If there is enough in the pot, additional people are hired to take care of it. The money would already be there, so no risk. The problem is, however, that in a few years all of the additional clutter has to be updated again, which again costs time and money. I have no idea for that now. Asking people to pay extra every few years becomes a questionable point with the current payment model. Personally, I only have my PC and all of the expensive hardware for DCS World anyway. I would be happy about a way where everyone can get their extra stuff, without some feeling left out and the Devs get paid either.
  15. Das ist auch meine Beobachtung. Würde auch das Testscenario von Illuricane stützen. (Keine Boden-KI und es läuft.)
  16. Hello Polychop team. I notice that the gazelle is getting some attention again. So maybe I would like to mention the point about the heating system again. Don't want to push, but it's been almost a year and a half since then. But the current improvements give me hope again. Kind regards Crash
  17. +1000
  18. I think the new pilots are really nice. Not so clunky and rough anymore. AND ... at least there are pilot bodies. Thanks to PC for that! Unfortunately, that is not a matter of course. I can't say enough about how happy I am!
  19. @Timghetta Your pilot's bodies are currently the measure of all things in DCS. Would it be conceivable that you create pilot bodies for other Devs? (Of course you should be paid!) An A10C, Mi-24P, MiG21 with one of your pilot's bodies, that would be great. Just the question: Would it be conceivable?
  20. Kostet wenig, bringt viel.
  21. First of all, thanks to the wonderful people who made it possible to experience DCS in VR. It's just beautiful and difficult to describe. You should have seen it yourself. I hope the DCS will invest even more in VR in the future in order to involve the admittedly slowly growing group of VR users even more. I would like to point out some possibilities that I would like and that would sometimes make my life a little easier: - It would be great if VR were supported directly. Just load DCS and thats it. No extra software in the background. - I would be happy if I could choose to switch to 2D in the main menu if I want to go into the Mission Editor without restarting everything. The ME is still a bit exhausting in 3D. - Seeing the name of whoever speaks to me in multiplayer would be great, but that's being worked on right now, right? - Rename the point IPD to "Worldscale" and perhaps provide a calibration image. I have the feeling that many VR users misunderstand this important tool and that it is given away a lot of immersion. - I would like to mention it just for the sake of completeness; the optimization of the performance itself. I am very sure that a lot is being done there. - I'm tired of the barren hangar. Don't you have something cooler? Or even better, make a pure VR menu, where the menus are divided in the virtual space. Such as a blackboard in the background with the news on it and the options as a technical data sheet on the virtual desk, for example. - Defined boundaries for the head. No more "looking through the sheet metal". - I wouldn't be me if I didn't advocate establishing the VR body as a general standard. Folks, a module is not finished without it. These are just a few initial ideas and wishes. I really hope that VR will continue to be pushed forward. Because VR will be the future. Even if the pace of innovation in technology has progressed more slowly than I and many others believed. I really hope that others will see it the same way and even add ideas for realistic VR optimizations.
  22. Gerade geguckt wer das ist....
  23. Da gebe ich dir vollkommen Recht. Auch mit dem unbemerkt einschleusen...
  25. I hope that ED keeps the "old" modules permanently up to date. If it now turns out that you do not really maintain the old modules such as the Mi-8, then I will think more about whether I really want to buy a module in the future.
