It was already said: too expensive for a country like Poland (even for Belgium :D )…

Now that's what I call control

Or rather controlled stall moves…:D -
I don’t see what could be the advantage of a relationship with the US except to piss off a lot of partners in the EU like France Dassault, Eurofighter, …the JAS 39 Gripen manufacture…etc…. Anyway it could be even worse like signing an F-35 contract for example.

Shader problems (8800 gts, vista)
TucksonSonny replied to peterj's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Windows 98 2nd edition was indeed a hit but Windows Millennium was a major disaster! Let’s hope that Vista will not be the ME version after the XP-hit! Anyway I would never choose for a Vista 32bit version (rather XP64 or Vista64 and not before real DX10 titles will shelf next summer) Aaaghh, Almost forgot that I am stuck for another year with my old stuff because of extravagant expenses for building the new house! Thus for me it is not a choice anyway :D -
How much time do you spend playing Lock-On?
TucksonSonny replied to RvETito's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Anyway with the job you will get money and a car and with the wife you will get a lot of PROBLEMS! :D -

I am totally clueless about harriers. What is the 20 min stationary story “Terminate” about? The bird is aged indeed but it still is a lethal fighter jet especially after AMRAAM-upgrade. -
So... what else you guys play besides lockon?

Gunzo tactics: SOme stuff I just dont understand.

My point is that an F-16A (especially the lighter A) mostly wins in dogfight exercises (RL) against an F-15C. Of course we are discussing 1vs1 dog-fighting exercises ;) . Anyway the faster jet is turning in larger circles and the slower jet is turning in the inner circle. In my opinion you better be in the inner circle (this is just my personal experience anyway) -

Not that I am good at gun-turn-fights (I am a BVR guy) Anyway King of turn-fight must be Mig-29A right or not? F-16A comes close I think. My point is in a close gun/turn/fight you don’t want to be a big boar like an F-15C/Su-27. -
MiG-35 and MiG-29SMT presentation

I am pretty sure that these HD-V MFD’s are 12G+ approved and your notebook would even not survive takeoff. ;) If you now could have these in your Dutch F-16! Keep dreaming… :D Looks pretty cool to me (I like the old instruments mix with the new stuff) -
Finally I have a release date for BS! Availability 15-May-2007 SimWare Price : To be announced http://www.simw.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=dsp_product_details&pid=1526

Eeeh, How is your russian? http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=19517&highlight=vista :D Can you run it in XP compatibility mode?
-
If you have the 64bit version of Vista then you probably need a 64bit patch for SF! (Anyway this is the case with XP 64bit version)

Of course the F-22 and J-11B were exclusively developed for showing of at air shows. How dare you to pretend that it could be for an invasion :D . Chinese industry executives attending the show remain reticent to discuss the J-11B program. The executive would say only that the Tai Hang has "similar applications to the Al-31 [the present Su-27 engine]. It's of a similar thrust and is of the same technology generation." The J-11B program also includes the integration of Chinese-developed planar array pulse-Doppler radar replacing the Russian N-001 cassegrain radar, at least two versions of which are fielded by the PLAAF. An image of a J-11B, still in its primer (see top photo on p. 27), appears to show the aircraft fitted with a different radome to the basic Su-27. Given the available space for a flat-plate antenna, this would offer a performance improvement over the N-0001. Also associated with the J-11B is the Luoyang PL-12 active radar-guided medium-range air-to-air missile. While the Chinese air force already has the Russian R-77 (AA-12 Adder) in service with the Su-27, the PL-12 offers a big performance increase over the present export standard of the Vympel R-77. Officials from the company were unable to discuss the PL-12 project. The initial development test-firing program for the overall PL-12 program now appears complete, with the missile at least close to service entry. It was integrated first on the J-8II for the development program. Trials of the PL-12 on the Chengdu J-10 also have been carried out.

Going even further OT: If I was president of China I would… From a tactical perspective the best China could do is wait for the next major conflict. Suppose that the next battle field (hypothetical speaking) would be Iran. With this move they could open a new battle field in Taiwan and as a result a (western) coalition would need to move assets to this new location (Iran is the major oil supplier for China). Anyway this would be a frightening scenario for some cartoon book like Buck Danny :D , but I don’t see it happen (Having all these nuclear powers involved).

Did you know there do flankers exist with R-73’s internally? Even the Su-27UB if I remember it correctly.;) -
do your 27ER miss their targets?
TucksonSonny replied to Bouddha's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Bouddha has a serious point: There is something strange going on with these Mig-23’s It is very easy to down an F-15C with your ER but nothing as hard as a Mig-23! -
You have chocolate and good Belgium chocolate! You have cars and good European cars! You have Microsoft and good software! You have D-Scythe/GGTharos and good ED Testers! You have fighter planes and good Russian fighter planes! (I am back on topic) :D D-Scythe: If you read this: relax man, this is just a joke all right? :D

It does! It is all explained on several F-22 websites in detail with technical pictures! Google "AN/APG-77" ;) (It is not exactly a hole, you know what I mean! ) The radar is constructed like an array of around 1500 finger-sized transmitter / receiver modules. Each module weights ca 15g and has a poweroutput of over 4W. The APG-77 is capable of changing the direction, power and shape of the radar beam very rapidly, so it can acquire target data, and in the meantime minimizing the chance that the radar signal is detected or tracked.

You completely don’t understand the topic: It is not about: “Country A going to attack country B with military power” The topic is about the competition of level of technology going on at the moment between USA, India, Russia, China, Europe, etc. If we don’t praise the F-22 we are ignorant and have attitude problems! Sure I am prejudiced because I love Migs and Flankers! What is wrong about that? I also do love Panther and Tiger tanks from WWII. Will this make me a Nazi then? Of course not!!!
