Wow! Thanks @Apache 64. Honestly, I don't recall this being mentioned in a newsletter. YT clip comment mentioned it's the ejection sequence only but it is a good start.

Hey folks, Was there any update I missed perhaps as to why ED is putting the effort into animations such as CP/G unboarding teased in July 2022? What is the goal? Yes I want to see the answer that we are getting the new feature in DCS - preflight walk-arounds
-
I remember when beta version stopped working after an update coz ED wanted to keep the date and did not take time to test. We communicated with our pitchforks and ED improved. It is unfortunate that the new bugs were discovered, but I preferer less bugs and wait that the other way around. Besides it's just a game, that offers so much currently, updates are welcomed but quality is even more so.

Yes mate, I am with you on this, poor wording in the communication is not their first one either, that why official communication cannot be taken exactly word by word. For example, by definition, this forum (web site) is also a social media, it's just we grew to understand social media as apps on smartphones. Discord can be a waste of time, I agree, but also gets you direct answers, many times Bignewy and NineLine responded to my direct questions honestly and to the point. That is not true, most likely you have missed it as it is the same post comment that is being edited, but all 'changes' to the update release timeframe were on Discord chat and a minute later in the forum post. It's even visible if one was to scroll back Discord as community posted screenshots from the forum post.

Imagine we'll get both in the same update, Chinook and Afghanistan. That would be something! So looking forward to Afghan! -

This will never get fixed, will it? @MAESTR0 could you clarify if this is something that can be potentially fixed at all? nullnull

Funny thing happened to Moskva - 170 hits and damaged 1% on the first attempt but then nothing at all on any subsequent mission loads... Also, tried the WWII German boat and bullets ignore the fact that there is the object they hit. null null

Since you mentioned "of any type": Just trying now, Armed speed boat killed with PGU AP shell nullI will try two more now... stand-by.

For sure the usual - past and current operators that are within DCS and make sense in DCS. Plus a ton of official / non-official ones from the community and possibly a screenshot contest to include community works in the core of the module.

Yes there is. It takes a little bit of understanding the text editor and following some steps, but once set up for the first time, then its absolutely amazing. Supercarrier Lua Templates for static deck objects v2 (digitalcombatsimulator.com)

A friend of mine is having this issue with his setup: Setup: i9-13800K / RTX 3080Ti. One main screen 34" and three screens / MFDs form CubeSim. He is using EMEET SmartCam C960 4K as a webcam. During the flight everything works perfectly fine, however a soon as he starts recording in NVIDIA ShadowPlay, the webcam feed displays as expected in the right hand side bottom corner of the main screen, however, the three CubeSim screens freeze, displaying whatever frame was displayed a second before recording started. As soon as the recording is stopped - Cubesim screens resume normal operation. Please reply if you had similar experience or saw something reassembling this behavior.

Will RB continue to support their products at all? Current and valid points, funny how they are not too active here but were just too fast & furious to go with RB/ED dispute publicly like they did.

Ultra high quality texture version
Gierasimov replied to Mainstay's topic in Orbx Simulation Systems
Low textures quality is one of the reasons I skipped this one. +1 in fav of getting Terabytes worth of content to DCS (optional) -
South Atlantic Map early access release note
Gierasimov replied to myHelljumper's topic in South Atlantic
I guess not any longer @Raz_Specter. will it ever see completion? -
Hi Gaz, can you please try exact same mission on your laptop to rule out DCS? If works there try to roll back Nvidia to driver version current -1. Try without MFDs on PC as well.

Make the early access launch an even better one - APA
Gierasimov replied to Gierasimov's topic in Wish List
Looking so much better, thank you! -
Thank you ED for delivering on your "promises":)

Yes they do, constantly. Latest example: In January they said "Hi Dear friends and pilots. We are testing a new update and solving current optimization problems. As it turned out, doing more is quite problematic. But we can handle it." We just need to do that - be patient and wait for them to handle it. No point in adding more assets to the scenery if they have problems optimizing, saying that from the perspective of 120 FPS simmer.

Hello and welcome to the forum. F-16 seems in a good shape right now and gets lots of love by the devs, it is also by ED so more guaranteed to be completed one day - in light of recent dispute between interested parties, we might need to wait long before Strike Eagle is updated or progresses. Notso posted current missing features and known bugs for F-15 (in the Razbam discord) and it is a lot. I am not sure about the state of Harrier as I never flew it in DCS and since you also have some reservations about it then it leaves Viper as a good choice. I love the Hornet - true multirole fighter in a very good development progress too, I flew already over 700 hours in it according to logbook so I might be biased :)
