I myself am curious about the size of this map. It should include all of Iraq of course, Kuwait and at least part of Saudi Arabia, so that there are also coalition's bases from operations in the Persian Gulf. Recently I've been flying a bit on Kola again and I have to admit that after the last two big updates the map looks simply great! There has been a lot of progress, in fact I'm waiting for some campaigns (they are on the way for F-16 and 18 and AJS-37 as well) over this area but for some time now it has been one of my most favorite maps. Crg!

Ok, this is my entry. It's a perfect time because the conflicts in Afghanistan, both US and Soviet, are my favorite topic Travel back to the times of the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan 1979-89. This Mi-24P of OSAP repaint based on the real repaints used in this conflict on the Mi-24P, type - "desert clover" used during military operations in Afghanistan. The skin is based on the real schemes used on the Mi-24P in Afghanistan, the so-called "Afghan clover pattern". This camo was created at that time in two variants, greenish (as a background) and sand-colored (as a background). The repaint also has changed interior elements (pilot, gunner, etc.), includes enhanced weathering too and can be used with any side number (with weathering numbers too). Correct, no Discord in Russia anymore. Generally, this is a problem for many 3rd parties as well, who came up with a brilliant idea - as for me out of laziness. To have only a channel on Discord, instead of actively running their sections here on the ED Forum. Discord is just a chat, full of mess unfortunately.

Only if Crimea was added. Currently the map is still great, I use the mod from Bartek and mod for trees and nothing new is needed for me.

Besides the "Big box dot" issue, I noticed another thing related to this. This large dot renders on one eye if it is at a certain angle (say 1/3 on the edge from the lens). Which also means that it is only visible in one eye, and the other is the object model's lod.

Im not sure 100% but maybe this campaign will be free as a part of the map: The Orbx team is collaborating with experienced DCS campaign creators Baltic Dragon and Reflected Simulations to create engaging campaigns. The upcoming Arctic Thunder campaign for the Kola map, will consist of two campaigns: one for a Finnish Air Force F/A-18C and another for an USAF F-16C Viper. Both will share the same storyline and missions, so it will be possible to play them from different perspectives.
