I did the same, plus RSET and Azimuth buttons, RMFD only, all on a 4-way HAT in modifier state

I think only air starts have them already boresighted.

Can this be flown with Thrustmaster hotas X
GrEaSeLiTeNiN replied to Aries101's topic in JF-17 Thunder
You can have a look at the mapping here for ideas. -
Hornet is less intuitive (Boeing designs seem that way) but if you fly it often and master the complexities ir can be a better fighting system esp with SA.

[ALL MODULES][SP/CO-OP] Liberation Dynamic Campaign
GrEaSeLiTeNiN replied to shdwp's topic in User Created Missions General
Planning our own missions as a work around would be better if they had more options/flexibility in adjusting the mission while in Lib so we could skip going into the ME. Would be nice too if they could group flights based on aircraft type like in that other sim's DC. -
The left MFCD actually changes its picture with the mode switch though only between NAV and A/A.

Hey thanks for the detailed POV. I just realised I asked a similar question a year ago, lol.

Are there any fundamental differences between RWS DTT and TWS DTT? Apart from slight differences in azimuth and bar scans, they look to be doing the same thing. Or does RWS alert the bugged targets in their RWR while TWS only alerts them when the missile has gone active?

CMS Fwd - Yes but not while it's still dispensing its own program after a consent via CMS Aft. (You can have a look at the mapping diagram I posted earlier in this thread.) To save C/F, I might say use the SEMI for its helpful prompt but select say FWD for flares, and CMS left for chaff.

F6 works for me but never could get target view to work at all.

reported earlier CBU-97/105 inaccuracy
GrEaSeLiTeNiN replied to Csgo GE oh yeah's topic in Bugs and Problems
Does the CBU97 still require a super steep dive in order to avoid the delay cue? I could only drop CBU97s in CCRP or in CCIP with the delay cue. It was mostly impossible to do the latter without the delay cue. -
Some Maverick questions from Viper novice
GrEaSeLiTeNiN replied to twistking's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I use WPN display with Bore more than Vis or Pre and do not always bother with the cumbersome boresighting and TGP coordination. I find Bore least annoying of all as the crosshairs just point forward and if it is somewhere else, undesignate slews it back to front. Vis follows your flight path marker which may not always face directly in front depending on your flying. -
Have a look here....

Good question. Did some testing. See previous diagram updated.

mod issue countermeasures bypass mode not working
GrEaSeLiTeNiN replied to huppel's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
UPDATE: Working now - CMS Fwd dispenses 1 Chaff + 1 Flare in BYP mode. I was using the DICE CMS mod which needed to be updated. -
No, CMS Aft in SEMI or AUTO does not dispense the currently selected prog number. It dispenses a prog that it deems fit. That's what I noticed when testing.

Regarding CMS Aft and CMS Right MAN/BYP Modes: CMS Aft - ECM to Transmit for MAN XMIT 3 only. (No effect in BYP XMIT 1/2/3 and MAN XMIT 1/2.) CMS Right - ECM to STBY for MAN XMIT 3 only. (STBY is default in BYP XMIT 1/2/3 and MAN XMIT 1/2.) If ECM is transmitting in SEMI/AUTO and you switch to MAN/BYP, it will continue to transmit but will not be functional after CMS Right (ECM STBY). SEMI Mode: CMS Aft - ECM to Active in XMIT 1/2. (No effect in XMIT 3.) CMS Aft - Dispenses prog determined by SEMI so long as being tracked (which starts audio prompt "Counter!") or missile inbound but not otherwise. CMS Right - Puts ECM in STBY regardless if transmitting or not. (STBY is default in XMIT 3.) AUTO Mode (Regardless of XMIT mode): CMS Aft - Enables AUTO (a prog determined by AUTO will dispense automatically when tracked or missile inbound). ECM to Active. CMS Aft - Manually dispenses prog (determined by AUTO) so long as being tracked or missile inbound but not otherwise. CMS Right - Puts ECM in STBY only when not transmitting. If ECM is transmitting, it will not go to STBY. (Updated)

Hmm... not quite. I did some testing. It's more like this... CMS Switch FWD: Dispense selected Prog 1-4 LEFT: Dispense Prog 6 AFT: Enable AUTO, Dispense SEMI/AUTO Prog manually, ECM to Active RIGHT: Disable AUTO, ECM to Standby for SEMI only Dispense Button Dispense Prog 5

[Latest Open Beta] I find to create a 2nd (or next) HMCS markpoint, I have to undesignate (TMS Aft) twice to return the small circle to the HUD (FPM) first. Then TMS Fwd long again (Markpoint to HMCS), TMS Fwd to ground stablilize, then TMS Fwd again to designate the 2nd (or next) markpoint. Basically restarting the process. This is not so in the case of HUD markpoints where you can continue designating a 2nd, 3rd, etc, markpoint without having to undesignate first.
