So the Rift is worthless for DCS 1.5? I'm close to ordering one, but I'm only running 1.5 atm.

I've been holding to buy these for about a year now, waiting for Milan to release the F-16 style pedals. Would be great if he could give us an update on those.

What works best for me is to at the beginning of the track, to move all your axis controls through their full range of movement. I just don't remember if I did it during pause, or not. But try both I guess. My tracks always play fine once I've done that.

Just tried it with the throttle on both the left and right and mine moves the throttle all the way to the maximum without problems. - Did you test your hotas throttle in Windows device manager to check if it goes to 100% there? - Long shot but, you don't have the afterburner detent installed? Interesting. I'll try it out tonight. My throttle is mapped to the right, and collective to the left. What I do experience is that the rpm axis isn't picked up on a cold start until you've pressed page up / down first.

Nothing wrong with people being excited about the fact that on Friday's there's almost always some news and / or updates. Anything is better than nothing. :)

Multicrew for the UH-1 and the DCS 2.5 release are the two things I'm looking forward too mostly.

It's not to hard to change the volume of the samples in the sdef files (gain) as far as I know. Shouldn't be a need to change the actual sound files.

Thanks for the answers. I'll give it a try tonight. I'd love to know more about the DF homing. Was it used only for close range precision navigation, or could it be used from further out than 10km (kinda like the current TACAN). Unfortunaly my searches on Google have come up empty-handed so far.

Does anybody know if the AFN-2 navigation is already operational in the current state of the module? From what I can find here on the forums, it seems there are no beacons present on the Caucasus map, but perhaps with setting up a beacon yourself on a vehicle? Mud

Art-J, I owe you a beer! Had a track which had me taxi off into the grass and end up in a fireball. Went through the controller ranges in a simple TE, loaded the track, went through the ranges again and played the 1 hour long track and it played perfectly. Thank you! Mud

Hey all, This isn't a complaint or bug report, but I'm just curious / intrigued. Why does it take so much power to start moving from a standstill compared to the P-51? I get the feeling that the tires / wheels are sticking. Looking at this video, it looks like that particular BF-109 starts rolling very willingly at near idle power .. on grass. Best regards, Mud

I wouldn't worry to much about it to be honest. Even if you use up your 10 activations (counter 0), after one month your counter will be on 1 again.

I noticed the prop moving / (windmilling?) on a cold plane for the first time yesterday. I'm also pretty sure that your require less power now to start rolling from a stand-still. Looks to be more like what it should be from the video's I've seen. So pretty pleased with that :)
