    How real?

One of our mates has "played" fsx dodosim jetranger for some weeks/months. Then he had the chance to fly in a real chopper. He learned some stuff very fast. For example he was able to hover with full controls etc. Not perfect but the IP was shocked that he could do this in his first helicopter flight. I would say if you can handle the Huey in dcs (especially when FM is finished) almost perfect you will learn also very fast to fly a real one.
  2. nice. its also possible to pick up troops which where already dropped somewhere?

    AN/APR-39

Yes, I thought about coop missions on the same side because the Ka50 has no RWR and the Huey no LWS. So together they could live longer. :D

    AN/APR-39

In a package with some Ka-50 it would be very usefull on some servers. This or some other features/upgrades would be nice. Then it would be easier to fly the huey without an accurate start-up procedure ;)
  5. The point is are the documents avaiable to achieve the same fidelty for the F35? Enough to create an AFM and see how the FCS works etc...
  6. Thats known for long time. It was always said that the accuracy is about 90-95%. I doubt that this is possible for a public F-35 sim at the moment. (I hope I am wrong ;))
  7. .... and dont forget civilians, plz.

    How real?

yes we all would fail because nobody would know how to start the engine http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=104198 ;(

    How real?

Nobody of us has the real huey controls at home (i guess ;) ) but I think we could learn it in a short time. :smartass:
  10. DCS is a platform where you can create very detailed and accurate modules. ... and then 5th gen fighters? :( Anyway... good luck. ;)
  11. Thanks. For me it helped a lot to put the stick between my legs when I fly the huey so that I can move it very easy... (Ambiguity unintended.)
  12. +1 Yes, I think best way to get in hover is without flying circles or curves. I prefer a more "direct" approach. Then you lose not much time:
  13. In my opinion more important than gps would be a RWR.
  14. Multicrew online-support for Huey! (3rd party devs say this feature has to be done by ed)
  15. I will miss my hoverboard insurgents... ;) btw. does the IG handle also larger theaters and more ground units?
  17. Where I have to put this line? :)
  18. Best way is to add radio-items (F10 menu) for the coalition where you can "restart" the beacons. mission start/once trigger -> add radio item for coalition ("radio item text - flag 1") switched condition trigger -> flag 1 = true -> start beacon & flag 1 = off
  19. Sometimes it seems that the whole Huey gets pushed aside about 2 meters (not just a yaw movement). is this behavior also accurate?
  20. If the Huey carry 11 soldiers the Huey can really carry minigun and rockets too? @ daribouca thanks :)
  21. +1 Also some improvements would be that you can pickup troops again after you already dropped them somewhere. (maybe this would be an other script where every huey has its own 11 soldiers and can drop and pick up them as often the pilot wants.) Would it be also possible to set the droppoffzones as moving zones (sticked to the hueys) and then they could dropp them off everywhere? :D
  22. Thanks a lot. I'll try it asap. :)
  23. Thanks for your quick answer  Unfortunatley it didnt work for me. (Also if I am on the ground it says that I am not in a droppoff/pickupzone) But maybe I did something wrong and someone else can test it?
