Too much room for confusion/misunderstanding if 0 were used instead of 36. "Maintain heading zero." "Zero what?" And having a "runway 0" would be very silly.

The "Player" sounds folder contains about six minutes worth of audio (twice that if you include the Russian version). It would take a pro about 30 minutes to record that. On a bad day, an amateur could get through it in a couple of hours. Honestly, if someone were to record the full player script as a single long audio file, I would edit it and pack it into its proper folder structure. I edit audio books for a living, so it would be no problem.

All of which applies when the laser is disabled, as well. Acquiring and maintaining a track does not involve the ranging laser in any way other than to provide refined positional data. Without the laser, you are tracking the ground, regardless of what you see in the MFD. A point track on a vehicle from a high distance/low angle will result in a point that is several meters beyond the vehicle. Laser-ranging the target results in a point track that is on the vehicle itself. It seems that this is something you should already know and understand. Perhaps you should revisit your "pertinent data". Insults are always helpful and productive.

Generally true, but this has been discussed here at length, the consensus being that it doesn't make as much of a difference at the A-10C's lower speeds. Still, I tend to stick to @12 seconds of lase time.

By doing so, you are selecting the default profile for that weapon. You need to select your saved profile through one of the methods mentioned above.

How are you actually selecting your weapon for delivery?

Well... To the issue of OP's speedbrakes, why are you trying to engage them on an attack run in the first place? The A-10 needs all of the speed/energy it can get, and dumping all of that energy right before you need it most is a recipe for disaster.
