  1. I had the same issue. I ended up creating 2 monitor configs. A PLT one and a CPG one. Just decide what I’m going to do, PLT or CPG set the option and fly. Bit awkward but my export matches the seat I’m in now. I use OVGME for reinstalling after an update.
  2. Darn... two days too late. Thanks Rudel. Got to file that away for next time.
  3. Excellent news about the preorders JackFlash.
  4. Interesting find. I suspect it's a "Special" setting like some of the other modules. Might be added with the "Trimmer Reset" button.
  5. NP, DCS is not always intuitive, eh? Hopefully in 2023, at least that's the plan. Baring any further global catastrophes.
  6. I had an issue initially with DCS not seeing the settings in game. Then I read the little tab at the bottom of the setup screen. (See below.) So I set Antimicro to run as administrator in properties and it works fine. I'm using a Logitech controller. Thanks for pointing out Antimicro Some1.
  7. You may already have done this but have you selected the CP/G dropdown in the Controls and set up the buttons? Each position has it's own dropdown. Once you change seats the control look for the CP/G control settings. George also has a short dropdown setting page as well. Great name BTW. Like to visit one day.
  8. OK, I’ll stop . Good luck.
  9. You can’t bind a none axis control ( the hat switch) in the axis settings. You have to switch to the not axis settings list and assign the hat switch to the rudder in that list.
  10. Dmatsch Sounds like you're trying to map the rudder in the axis settings not the non axis settings. If you want to map the rudder to buttons (4way hat) then you need to use flight controls mapping. I think the keyboard buttons are Z & X so when in your controls menu hit either of them and it should take you to the rudder line. Then map your buttons there.
  11. I'm just off to work but I put copies of my Lua's in the thread for download. I also noted the location of the .init file so if you can find the thread it will be able to point you to the file.
  12. A "SME" is a Subject Matter Expert. In this case, AH-64 Pilots.
  13. I will be flying Solo / SP as the pilot 99%. I may venture on line once competent. Just scratched the surface so far but finding it challenging and fun. Much prefer flying over riding "Shotgun" up front so will be using George as CPG. Tried it out and seems pretty straight forward. 104th Maverick did a great video on using George as CPG so check it out (video is worth a 1000 words, eh?). I use the Liberation campaigns for my gameplay with the Harrier/Hornet/Viper so the Apache will be great fun in those scenarios as well. Just have to set it up with air superiority though. Having said all that I'm glad I picked it up as a primarily Solo / SP player.
  14. I believe ED will be sorting this out in a future update. What I did as a temporary work around is to create an Apache Monitor Lua file for the Pilot instead of using the Left_MPCD and Right_MPCD. Others may have come up with some other method as well but this worked for me. Do a search for a thread about "multi, monitor, export" and all the details are in there. Good luck.
  15. This is an "Awesome" tool. Commendable work Comrade Doge.
  16. Looks like something else is also operating the brakes. See if another controller is mapped.
  17. A saved games .diff would be nice, in the meantime I use OVGME to reinstall the changes after updates.
  18. Do you have a recommendation for a Collective curve?
  19. Perhaps add a track of your next attempt and one of the helo wizards can have a look. All I can say is it sounds like an axis is stuck, doubled up or perhaps inverted... sorry that's all I got. Strange behavior especially since you have other helo's which don't give you grief.
  20. Still just working on flying and landing but your question made me curious. Is there a "Store" button available for the pilot or just the CPG?
  21. There are a couple of fellows who have the skills to make Lua's for those switches but I haven't seen them on recently. I'll look for one of their posts and PM a request. Of course if they don't have the Module we're out of luck. Otherwise Joy2Key as Baldrick suggests.
  22. Thanks for this... I thought it was strictly for FFB sticks. I've been struggling with the Apache particularly with slowing down and landing. And, occasionally my controls would lock up, usually the rudder (they're a bit spikey). I popped back into the Ka-50 and had no issues at all. I notice I use "Default" in the Ka-50 when I checked to see the axis settings, I was not using center position trim. Going to switch over and give it another go.
  23. Me to, right now it comes up dead center of my monitor.
  24. No worries, didn't take it that way. Just use to flying the jets. @frostycab Thanks for pointing the way.
