  1. They (Israel) also use CFT’s on many of their F-16’s.
  2. Think I’ll wait for a Wags video on George before I make any decisions on the AI interaction.
  3. Great little video. Very good for someone just starting out on a helicopter sim. Thanks for posting.
  4. I always used the screw head as neutral.
  5. That is very odd. It sounds the same as having duplicated settings but you say it works fine in training. Try checking your settings anyway, see if any are doubled up, if not run “repair” it may sort it out.
  6. Sorry Marshallman I’m away from my rig until next week (sigh). I can’t remember the brand but I bought it from Canada Computer. Try their website. It sounds similar to the one TBob11 described, each port has a power button, etc.
  7. It’s unfortunate that ATC doesn’t give you QNH on approach. This would solve this issue once and for all. Probably see a 10% drop in forum posts alone.
  8. I use a powered 10 port USB hub. Works great, 4x Cougar MFD’s, rudders, TrackIR, keyboard and mouse with two left over. I’ll add the two Apache ones in those Warthog is plugged into the PC since it prefers the MB.
  9. I mount mine (cougars) to a second monitor so would not use a desk mount for your MFD either. Any word on the cost for a pair yet?
  10. Nice shot. What is the lateral offset? Have to be pretty close, 10m ‘ish?
  11. I know zip about Phantoms. Just noticed the fuel tanks are mounted outboard in the photo above. Where as the new planes all load them inboard. Anyone know why?
  12. Awesome, I’ll be adding those when I get back home. Thanks for making the work around. I thought it flipped to off as you turned it up like those old dials that just go round and round, no stops.
  13. So, if I understand the concern correctly if ED gives an update on the FM then all the other update info requests will go away. That seems a bit of a stretch.
  14. Once he’s ready for some missions use the Liberation campaign generator. Just plan an A/G mission and add an escort flight of AI. Works a treat, it’s basically how I like to fly the Hornet as well, A/G primarily. Great to hear about others joining the flight sim world. just saw your last post. The Liberation campaign is similar to the “other” sim for mission making. Just add an escort flight.
  15. I recall many years ago when using my old X-52 that there was an issue with ghost commands as they were called. That maybe what you have going on. Are you using the X-56 software to program any of the controls? IIRC I had to use the saitek software for a couple of commands to simulate an extra axis or something So it could be the X-56, just a thought…
  16. Most eloquent… Congrats (or perhaps condolences) on your recent Fini flight.
  17. The missing pages are certainly a priority but I hope they push the DTC up the list as well.
  18. Hmmm probably right. Point taken.
  19. That maybe how you started but it’s not reflected in your recent post now is it? just saying you need to take step back and get back on track.
  20. I suggest hand bags at 5 paces girls... Stop posting your petty differences here please or take it off line, it's wasting my time when I see a new post in the thread and I have this drivel to wade through.
  21. Ah, I use the CMS "Push" for center TrackIR. Interesting how different people setup their controllers, eh?
  22. Warthog paddle might be better.
