  1. @uscstaylor This should get you started. I don't know your screen size or the Gullimots (they look small) so I based it on my screen and a guess at what the Gullimots would fit. The sketch shows how the setup is planned out. You can place the physical devices how you want that is just how they are rendered. Unfortunately you do end up with some wasted space. Place the Lua here X:\DCS World OpenBeta\Config\MonitorSetup X: is which ever drive you installed DCS to. Go to Options in game. Un-select Fullscreen in options. You can't run multi-monitor in full screen (unless something has changed) in DCS. Enter the new resolution in options (see pdf sketch) it should automatically recalculate the aspect ratio for you then select the new Lua from the drop down. When you hit OK the sim will shut down and restart with the new screen size etc. When you activate the MFCDs they should show up in the Gullimots. Tweak the x,y coord as necessary to fit them. Or drag them if that other program lets you. Hope this helps. Gullimot Setup.lua Options screen.pdf
  2. Noice.... Another great "Chuck" guide. Thank you for all the work you put into producing these very handy guides. :book:
  3. You don't mention it so I have to ask... What does NP say and is there anything on their forums? May be something there which might help.
  4. Not available yet, it's at early access stage right now. Check out the pocket guide. You'll have to use your Google-Fu and search for videos etc done by the very helpful community.
  5. Eject, rather than risk destroying millions of dollars of aircraft on the ramps, not to mention the landscaping bill. Oh, you mean the throttle bug. :megalol: Num Pad - didn't work? Odd that Num Pad + did. I would say add your experience to the bug report. Since you had completed the mission fine it wasn't duplicated control settings.
  6. Level bombing, my rule of thumb which works fine is 500' at 500 kts. Obviously terrain will dictate your approach.
  7. Tragic loss, condolences to the family. RIP
  8. Sounds like a plan AD
  9. Bit of a "Catch 22" I guess. If they leave the bugs to produce new content we don't buy the new content because the base game has bugs. But, they need the cash from new content to pay the guys to fix the bugs... Hope they can find a balance.
  10. Doubt the moving map will be of much value if your INS isn't aligned. The plane needs to know where it is. INS is much more important.
  11. Whew... glad I'm not the only one. I found myself going backwards the other day as well doing field practices where I hadn't before.
  12. This kind of question can only lead to the dark side...

    Moving map ?

Must be new to early access then... It's all part of the deal you bought into, prepare yourself for future disappointments. Or, just work with what you have and await the updates as the development process moves ahead.
  14. Thanks SinusoidDelta, sometimes my Google-Fu fails me and I can't find something I know I've seen.
  15. Nice work BD and associates, thanks for taking the time to produce this manual.
  16. Actually, someone did just that (user defined curve) to simulate the actual throw of the stick. Unfortunately I didn't note which thread it was in.
  17. It's been awhile since I use to "remark out" the in cockpit MFD's and just use the exported images on my second monitor. I did this in order to save some FPS, it seems 2.5 has created a need to do that again. The issue I am having is that when I remark out that line it gets picked up by IC and I can't play in Multiplayer which is where I need to save some FPS the most. Has anyone else had this problem and able to solve it. :helpsmilie:
  18. :helpsmilie: Where would I find this "Tracks" folder? NVM I found it... Thanks for the info.
  19. I had a similar problem with the double push down so I switched the SSS to the DMS hat on my Warthog. I then made SSS down a double aft press using a modifier instead.

    AV-8B Helios

No worries, glad I could help. Unfortunately, at least for now you have to turn them on each time you launch a mission.

@Fakum Have you set a switch to turn them on/off? There is one for each MFCD.
  22. Great job. Thanks for doing that. I guess you fixed the pictures as I can see them.
  23. Ah, OK thanks. I thought I was missing something.
  24. You can slew all three using the axis slew? Hmmm... I can only slew the T-POD with the axis slew. I have to use buttons to slew the DMT and MAV's. How were you able to set that up?
  25. Please don't go nuts with the details or you'll kill the FPS just when we need it, hovering beside the deck. I'd prefer performance over pretty.
