The road bases were conceived, and for the most part, used in the time before PGMs and stand off weapons became commonplace.

I have the same problem and I also feel the effect seems overdone. However, I found that it could be mitigated by activating nose wheel steering (kbd S or HOTAS) until the rudder gets enough authority.
Nope. It's anti-ship and old school dumb bomb and rockets ground attack. Plus Maverick. That said, it's no CAS aircraft. That wasn't really a task for the Swedish Airforce back then.

Well, LNS had already announced two F-14 variants, all in one module. Also both the C-101 and L-39 modules are slated to include two different versions each.
So I wouldn't rule out future developments as to different versions of already existing aircraft modules.
