  1. And a DCS F-15C. But maybe that still is the FC3 version...
  2. You only have to look out of the cockpit, to the right. :-)
  3. I think it has been stated that it is so because the aren't completely done with the 3D model, so they've just mirrored the texture as tonot hsve to redo the whole aircraft if they need to change something.
  4. So how do people do this, all you who've been running the preview, anyone?
  5. I think it has been proposed way back... :-)
  6. Not much known about it other than it coming later and LN investing in a dedicated theatre development team somewhere in Poland.

    F-15E?

I don't think anybody expects it to be a free upgrade...
  8. Yeah, I've also had some problems with that switch... :-)
  9. That would be strange AOA is always a matter of difference between the airflow and the wing. As such, it has very little to do with the horizon...?
  10. Just a quick note on the distribution: The Dora and L-39 guides seem to not be shared over Google Drive in such a way as to it being possible to add your upload to my own G-drive and thus automatically having it updated when you upload a new version. It works for the others.
  11. AFAIK, there isn't. The pause or active pause is kind of a solution.
  12. Hopefully we'll be getting bigger and better payware maps...
  13. That sounds nice, why can't we have that?
  14. It's kind of weird that the Flanker needs constant trimming despite being FBW...?
  15. Yikes! I've been appalled by this too but I assumed it was due to me running DCSW 2 on low settings beacuse of my old system. It really breaks the immersion, needing to zoom to actually see details in the landscape...
  16. That is weird. I can swear that I saw a screenshot with flightlevel to metres (not feet to metres) and then compared it to a photo of a real cockpit (the one just posted earlier in this thread) which had a FL to feet to metres table and thought we should have that in the sim instead. Hmm... Anyway, waiting for the Viggen. In frustration (ok, maybe not the only reason...), I went and got a Private Pilot License, so I can confirm that those numbers correspond to deconfliction flight levels (basically everthing going east is separated by 1000 ft from westbound traffic and VFR from IFR in the same direction by 500 ft). Edit: I realised that the above only makes sense if you found the feet numbers in the table off to even 1000s and 500s. Edit 2: Looking closer and doing the math, it seems the table in the LNS screenshot is not a conversion table but rather just altitudes in metres that roughly correspond to the standard flight levels that you are supposed to choose according to the so called half circle rule.
  17. I think the table is just below the radar screen. Hard to tell from looking at screenshots on my phone... Edit: It's a conversion table from IFR and VFR flight levels (two-digit, hundreds of feer, standard altimeter setting, 1013 hPa) to meters.
  18. Actually, there is a similar table in LNS' Viggen cockpit. :-)
  19. AFAIK it has never been stated that they will make a Swedish map. - Only that they will make a small theatre for both the F-14 (said to be "cold and oceany") and for the Viggen. The fact that it would be hard to think of Viggen-appropriate theatre not containing a piece of Swedish territory is a different matter. :-)
  20. I'd say space with no hyphen. Also, the missiles but rarely the aircraft are often written in lowercase (ie. rb 05) in running text. The missiles are sometimes also referred to as RBS X meaning robotsystem, ie. missile system, inkluding for an example ground based launcher and various accessories. However one could argue that the RBS 15 system includes the RB 15. It only makes sense sometimes and things change with time and context. For an example, the company behind the system might market it with the "same" designation albeit with a twist, and also there may be logistics designations that differ from the ones used in training manuals and other official nomenclature.
  21. Slight problem setting up the controls for the F-5E. All the trimmer switch controls but the "Aileron Trimmer Switch - Left" have the entire line in the controls config table red. Assigning buttons/keys to those commands doesn't do anything. It's like the commands are missing or disabled. Any ideas? Running latest 1.5 Beta with no mods and I'm not using any old config files (ie. have not over written the ones that come with updates using old ones). Using HOTAS Warthog but the problem concerns both keyboard and HOTAS keys. Edit: Sorry, didn't see the Bugs and problems sub-forum, mods, please move the thread.
  22. Would it be possible to bind the mouse button function to a HOTAS button, then leave the mouse cursor somewhere on the screen and aim it using TrackIR?
