  1. Any chance that it will be possible to remain at the flight controls while "sitting" in the back seat? Sort of manning both positions at once but "looking" from the RIO position? I remember that at least in good old Jane's F-15, that functionality made the WSO position quite useable as a sort of "heads down" version of the pilot cockpit, with more displays, etc. Skickat från min G8441 via Tapatalk

  19. Isn't the whole point of setting the declination (variation) on the dial (which I've never been able to rotate btw) that the nav system is supposed to know true heading and the CI thus display the same?
  20. That's the one. The voice (tutorial, not the one in my head, mind you) told me to do stuff with trims that I couldn't find. Probably touched emergency trim in the process.
  21. I also had that the first time. After a restart of the sim and a new try it worked. Also got me up to speed on the startup procedure... ;-)

    Wind

    Are you sure you're setting the wind correctly. In DCS mission editor (and I think also in auto generated briefing data) wind direction is the direction the wind is blowing into and not as IRL, where the wind is blowing from. I.e. to get a headwind when landing/taking of rwy 27 (a/c heading 270 degrees) you need wins set to 90 degrees. But I agree something seems odd as you should be able to maintain indicated airspeed just the same regardless of wind direction.
