The zoom is implemented by a key, it works OK once you're used to it. I honestly don't have that much of a problem dogfighting in VR. Last time I did it we flew MiGs Vs Sabres and that worked fairly well, without labels. I can't really say that any of my friends did better or worse with their monitors. I have pixel density at 1.7, maybe that helps?

Oh! I think the night sky was the least impressive thing in DCS VR, got to give this a chance!

I don't see the difference between individual "Flights" flying together and a flight of four except when it comes to mission building. This is how it was until quite recently. Though it is very annoying.

I haven't tried it in the Mirage yet but i guess this technique should be applicable to most aircraft.

Which time zone are you in and at what specific hours do you intend to fly?

Line up in the runway and compare the centre lines, there you will see a difference between 4 and 16. Other than that it is usually said that anything higher than 4 isn't worth it in DCS.

I think the word is that DCS doesn't scale very well with SLI. But wait until someone with some experience can give you some advice...

I flew DCS and Cliffs of Dover the other day, using TrackIR again for the first time since I revived my Rift in May. All I can say is that there is no comparison. I used to love my 3400x1440 display but when I use it now it just feels extremely underwhelming, I'm still sitting here in my living room looking at a screen!

LeCuvier, i think this function is implemented already. Because this is how it works for me, I can't remember the name for this bind in the options right now. Great job though :)

I don't think this is unique for the F-5E. The mirrors are costly to render in any aircraft, which is why I never use them.

So, has anyone tested it yet?

I think I want to enlarge the scale a bit in DCS, which I suppose would be done by decreasing the distance between the "eyes". I get the feeling of being too small in game, not by cramped cockpits but more from the fact that the pilot model feels like a rather tiny man. My pilots hands look even smaller in DCS than IRL! Especially in the MiG-15.

I have been able to disable tooltips by turning them off in the settings menu and then re saving the mission I'm supposed to fly, that way the option is saved in the actual mission. This has not been working out for some users here though...

This is fixed in DCS 2.0 and will probably work in 1.5 shortly, at least the F10 map.
